Generally OK
The items ordered were correctly delivered, though they did not have enough in stock for my needs, so I had to order the rest elsewhere. However the service was accurate and fast.

My order for a consumer unit was based…
My order for a consumer unit was based on the fact it was in stock and available quickly. Despite the website showing in stock, unfortunately none of my order was. Therefore my experience was not great, I received my order 5 days late.

Hi Russell,
Many thanks for your review. We do occasionally have stock delays and unfortunately, the website stock count doesn't always catch up immediately. We apologise for the delay.

Multiple repeat customer
Multiple repeat customer. They still ask for reviews. Danger is it could only go one way after multiple faultless orders. So far, so good however.
I order stuff, pricing is keen. It turns up to the right site. No Christmas freebees with this order, although it is March. I'll doubtless order more stuff and submit more reviews.

Fusebox 3 Way Consumer Unit Quality
Just ok delivery, arrived late, but undamaged. No key lock (Lock, Square Key, Triangle Key or T Key). No cable guard edging or gland for lower supply cable entry. Finally, the MCBs are non standard, so you have to purchase Fusebox MCBs, which it did not state on the website! So, lots of additional wasted time late sourcing missing items and having to make an additional order for MCBs, after the unit arrives. Not happy!

Hi Sean,
Just a quick note - yes, you did order the additional MCBs from us - but from our records, this is the only purchase you have made from us and we have no record of the purchase of the board - is it possible this was purchased from a different wholesaler?
However, I will say that our website states the items that are supplied with the board, which doesn't include a lock-out kit - this is a separate accessory that can be purchased. Again, glands are accessories that are not supplied with the board and are not stated as part of the pack contents. It is also worth noting that all manufacturers expect you to use product-specific MCBs, RCBOs etc. and cross-populating boards with other brands is not recommended.
Do what they say.
All goods received as ordered and on time. This may sound simple, but so many companies cannot manage to send everything you order by the date they say they will. No such issues with Consumer Unit World. I have used CUW before and would use again.
