I hired CMS for my elderly mother's move. The moving staff was careless and did not protect the furniture or paintings. Many things got badly damaged. Konny Nakamura gave a lot of excuses but never made good on any of her promises. Konny has been stringing my mother along with promises for 3 years.

From my initial introduction, Konny and Ivan were exceptional. I had reached out to several best-in-class international movers for quotes and was annoyed because it’s clear I was getting whatever generic quote a person far away from the actual shipping process could come up with. I assumed they would be “the best” or potentially cost effective because they handle so many white glove international moves, but I was banging my head trying to get responses and real input. When I met Konny and Ivan, it was COMPLETELY different. I was immediately prioritised, and they understood what I was trying to solve for in our big family move from Miami to London and were actually able to create a moving package truly catered to me given they oversee every step of the actual process. I have never actually had someone more communicative in any service capacity in my life than with Ivan. We texted daily, and no matter what little question I had, Ivan gave me immediate feedback or that he was working on it and would also provide an ETA (which he stuck to) if it was a more nuanced issue. In fact, in the middle of our highly complicated move, I threw a curve ball and asked them to move up our shipping day by about 2 weeks (how awful am I!) and Konny and Ivan immediately were able to pivot and get us the outcome we wanted and Ivan was actually able to reconfirm all details practically same day- and even saved us a bit of money in the process. Unheard of results. Honestly, I miss speaking with Ivan every day, and I wish I had an Ivan to cater to my every need (I’m talking 7am texts, 12am texts, Ivan was on the case. I don’t think he sleeps). I truly have never felt so well taken care of and I thank them for giving me such a pleasant experience with no surprises in what is a pretty stressful life event. Will never move with anyone else (oh, also all this personal white glove service was more cost effective vs. the massive international companies you may be familiar with).
