The MacBook 12 inch was good and neat but tiny black rubber lining the screen housing in front torn out. And I wasn’t satisfied with the charger adapter that came with it. I have to purchase original apple charger adapter.

Great delivery, came within 2 days. The Macbook itself works wonders and is very good condition in appearance and the system. However one slight issue is the volume keys won’t work to control the sound level but this doesn’t bother me too much! Also the sound quality to airpods isn’t that good but I found a way to improve it. Thank you!

I purchased a refurbished Macbook 12 inch 2017 i7 16gb RAM/512SSD. It was quite heavily discounted in rose gold at £375 in "excellent" condition. Having never bought a refurbished laptop I had very low expectations. These were initially met when the laptop arrived in a plain cardboard box wrapped in thick inflatable wrap with the charging brick rattling around loosely in the box. However, after that initial disappointment my experience has been wonderful.

The charging brick supplied is a 61W Apple charger, not the 29W I was expecting. The laptop itself is in practically new condition, absolutely pristine other than some very minor degradation of the rubber strip which surrounds the screen which cushions the upper lid when closed. However, this is barely noticeable and certainly does not affect the operation or appearance of the machine which I must say have both been fantastic. In operation it works as new. Setting up the laptop felt like having a new device. The battery had 476 cycles and a calculated capacity of 86% which I think is reasonable for a laptop of this age. Even so with moderate use it achieves around 4-5 hours of battery life which I feel is acceptable.

I'm really fortunate that I can use this as my secondary laptop (the other is a MBP 16inch). I purchased it on a whim as I have always been intrigued by the 12" form factor and have been in absolute awe of the machine. It is absolutely stunning in design and it feels like a treat each time I use it! I have found it to be the machine I am much more likely to pick up for general use at home such as web browsing and emails (and writing this review!). My ipad pro 12.9 (2018) now has some serious competition! I would jump at the chance to purchase an updated version with Apple silicon for the added processing power and battery life.

Overall my experience of buying from computerdiscounts.co.uk has been fantastic and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. As for the 12 in macbook - it has many well documented pitfalls but for this price and the beauty of this device, I would definitely do it all over again!

I bought a refurbishediMac from this company and have had endless problems. You can never speak to the company by phone. Took it to an Apple Store only to be told we can’t do anything with the computer because it is still belonging to some company in America. Authentication problems I have been trying to return this computer and hear nothing back from them. A very unhappy client who will take this further

I feel like delivery time could be better, and also email communication was a bit unstructured it felt like.
I feel like this could be tidied up a bit to add more professionalism.

bought a MacOS Catalina a few years ago. Within a couple days it was having some issues. I had already set it up and had to send it back which was in itself very annoying. However, they helped and were quick and sent me another laptop in replacement. After that experience and having set up another one, this strange vertical line appeared on my laptop about less than a year later. It was annoying but see-through and having done so much with this laptop already, I notified them but put it off because I didnt want to re-start the whole process AGAIN. And now that line has turned into a solid 2inch band and they cant help me because it's beyond their contract, even though the problem started early on and I notified them.

Great laptop, like new. Good customer service. Good price. Reliable seller.

Recommend you stay clear of buying anything from this company. If you have issues they only send you "How-to-Geek" suggested solutions. They are reluctant to take the product back to address the issues identified and even when they do, the same issues exist when you receive it back. Issues arose 5 months into the 12 month warranty period for a MacBook Pro13 and they basically ran down the remaining 7 months without providing a fix and then advised us to take it up with Apple directly, as their warranty had expired. Not an ethical company to deal with - stay clear!
