Great Experience Renting with Chrystalla

I had a very positive experience with Chrystalla Kaila at Complete Prime Residential during my recent tenancy process in York.

Throughout the process, Chrystalla was consistently polite, professional, and supportive. My referencing situation was not entirely straightforward, as I had previous address history outside the UK and some additional document checks were required. Despite this, she remained patient, responsive, and helpful in explaining what was needed and in following up on the progress.

She kept me updated at each important stage, from the holding deposit and referencing process through to payment confirmation and key collection arrangements. I especially appreciated her communication when there were delays outside her direct control, as she always remained courteous and tried to move things forward.

After move-in, she also checked in to make sure everything had gone well, which I thought was a very thoughtful touch.

Overall, I found Chrystalla to be reliable, kind, and professional, and I am very grateful for her help throughout the process.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the…

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Prime Residential. For over two years, the ventilation system in the entire flat has not been working, including the toilets, bedrooms, and kitchen. Despite chasing the estate agent more than 10 times during this period, the issue remains unresolved.

Living in a property without any ventilation for such a long time is unacceptable and potentially harmful to health. Proper ventilation is a basic requirement for a habitable home, yet this has been ignored repeatedly.

I have consistently asked for the issue to be repaired and have also requested fair compensation, as I have been paying the full rent every month for a property that is clearly not being maintained according to the standards promised in the tenancy agreement. However, I was told that the landlord refuses to provide any compensation, which shows a complete lack of accountability.

It is very disappointing that Prime Residential, as the managing estate agent, continues to collect their commission every month while failing to ensure that serious maintenance issues are resolved. There appears to be little to no concern for the tenant’s wellbeing or contractual rights.

As an accountant and administrative supervisor, I regularly deal with property management matters professionally, and the level of service I have experienced here is far below acceptable standards.

At this point, I am seriously considering taking legal action to recover compensation for the past two years, as well as reporting the issue to the local council, since a property without working ventilation for such a prolonged period raises serious health, safety, and housing compliance concerns.

I strongly advise anyone considering renting through this agency to carefully evaluate their responsiveness to maintenance issues, based on my experience.

We have been working proactively with your landlord on this however this has taken longer than we would have hoped for to get approved.

Excellent experience

I’ve been working with Complete for over 10 years, and my experience has been positive. More recently, I had the chance to work with two new team members (new to me), Safiyya and Thomas. I first worked with Safiyya for a short period and was immediately impressed by her professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to quickly understand the specifics of my account.

When my account transitioned to Thomas, the handover was seamless. He has been equally attentive, well‑informed, and genuinely pleasant to work with. Despite being new to my account, bhe was fully up to speed from day one, which speaks to the strength of the team and their internal processes.

Overall, I remain very satisfied with Complete and appreciate the high level of service I continue to receive.

Thomas Law has been our property…

Thomas Law has been our property manager for short while but I have had great servie from his. He advised me of issues with our tenanted flat as soon as possible, gave me options of repair teams and ketp me in the picture in a timely manner. He laso was very proactive in giving me choices for a replacement dishwasher after a repair was not possible. I am grateful of hios efforts and his positive customer service and involvement

Complete peace of mind

Safiyya, and all others before her have been very professional and responsive during my almost 10 years long association with Complete. Being in Singapore, in spite of the distance and the time difference, I always felt that I was in safe hands. From the time i took possession to getting the furnishing, to managing tenancies, maintenance and dealing with general repairs, I have had no reason to complain.

Complete satisfaction

As a landlord I rely on Complete for timely advice and follow-up on tenancy arrangements and ongoing maintenance and repair issues. I have been completely satisfied with the service provided by the company, in particular Safiyya and Katie, over the period of the current tenancy, both in managing the flat and helping me to apply for a licence to let the property, which is a local council requirement.

professional & positive experience

Generally speaking a professional experience and useful, especially for an overseas landlord. One suggestion would be to offer the rent protection as part of their service and not extra (by pricing it in their fee) so the landlords can have one less decision to make, especially in the beginning of their relationship, when less informed. Overall a positive relationship.
