Sadly, this system cannot be relied upon. I have notified them repeatedly about two businesses that I have discovered where their site says that the accounts are overdue, but you can actually download the most recent ones from their site. All I get in response is "Our developers are working on it".... It's been more than 12 months !!

Some how I tumbled upon your webpage to find out regarding a company who has dissolved after taking huge investment from us. It was good I found out from your site that they have dissolved.

The site is user friendly and easy to navigate. I was able to do everything I set out to do without any difficulties. I will recommend the site to there who might need information about any organisations in United Kingdom.

The information they provide is mediocre at best, I am not sure I would trust the credit scores they provide. Knowing how my own business is doing, I checked the credit score they gave my business and decided I could not trust this information. As a small business you really need accurate informative information especially when you pay for it. Customer service is non-existent, be very careful with billing, some subscriptions you can cancel through the portal, others you have to cancel through PayPal!

Did not pick up bad reviews on the researched company

Took £20 off me and I never got the report I paid for. No telephone number anywhere to speak to someone. No one got back to me by email to chat. Really dissaponted and cheated

Have not received my report 1 week after payment, would have expected it to be sent within 48hrs .

I never got the refund I asked and the customer service is non existent.

Try before you buy was a big part in my decision to subscribe.

I purchased a report on a company that is trading still in 2021, but the reports were seven years out of date. Accessing 2014 info is practically useless to me.
I contacted Company Check but have heard nothing back as yet

Very prompt and informative response. Do however remember to cancel the automatic renewal immediately unless you want to keep the subscription for future years.

I can see it being useful for buyers but unfortunately it isn’t as they have little information about the company and honestly nothing you can’t find for FREE of the gov website

Tries to trick you into subscribing when you simply want to download individual reports. Basically, any time you buy a report, Company Check automatically signs you up to a yearly subscription (there's no obvious way to avoid this). This is not explicitly stated when you're paying and there's no option fo avoiding subscription. And once you're subscribed, there's no way to unsubscribe on the website. If you're lucky and you pay using Paypal, you can go in Paypal and cancel the recurring payment there. Otherwise, you have to find a way of blocking future transactions (auto)authorised on your card.

This is the first Trustpilot review I've ever written... that's how annoying and unethical I find this practice.

The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is that the reports you get are *somewhat* useful (especially compared with no information). I'd gladly use an alternative though, if I were aware of any.

Paid for a report but have never report but have never record it, can not get access to this company’s web site. Very disappointed
