Colourfence are a shocking business to deal with and it all started so well.

Early December 2025. Salesman Colin S came out with his trainee Matt C and after a one hour measure up and consultation about various options, and with detailed training provided to trainee we were given a price with various December discounts applied and asked to sign the quotation which we duly did.

We asked for an email copy which duly arrived.

We accepted the quote and asked for bank details of where to pay the deposit

After chasing the following day, received an email saying that due to poor internet (not mentioned whilst on site) the quote was wrong and provided a new quote, saying sign this if you want to go ahead.

This quote was three times more expensive than the agreed price, it had no reference number and no detail, just a single price.

Over the next two weeks, we insisted that according to UK contract law, we already had an agreed contract and expected it to be honoured.

Vague responses received.

Eventually complained via official complaints channel and had to chase acknowledgement of receipt. Karen G replied saying was being dealt with, but no response received

Chased a further three times before Operations Director Gareth T replied saying he would reply by following Monday 5pm.

This date came and went ...and despite chasing ...the silence continues.

My advice .. Avoid Colourfence at all costs!!

Footnote: I definitely have the right company! Three months and counting for a proper response....still speechless!

From the first contact with the company right up to installation of my new fence panel and gate everyone I spoke with were extremely helpful and friendly. I'm very happy with the product and would definitely recommend.

We needed to replace a timber fence that we had already had to replace twice due to damage from weather and a mixture of Ivy and brambles, and considered either a better quality wooden lap fence or Colourfence, Our only concern was relative cost so we were surprised and pleased when the quote from Colourfencecambs came in almost the same as a quote from another supplier for a wooden lap fence, and we opted for Colourfence on the spot.
Once we made the choice we couldn't have been happier with the experience, The quote and booking process was clear and straightforward and the installation was done in a day. The installation team were organised, friendly and extremely helpful, and took away all the old fencing (and some other stuff!) for a small fee.
I would very much recommend both Colourfence as a product and Colourfencecambs as an installer.

From my first contact with Colour fence I have received only a first class service. From Sharone and Katie in the office to Luke and his team, who all worked extremely hard to demolish my collapsing brick wall and drill through the foundation for the wall so that they could erect the post and fence with lattice trellis top. Upon completion they cleaned up any mess and washed down the fence panels. Over the day and a half that Luke and his team were here they were polite, efficient and kept me informed of their progress throughout.

Sharone, the CEO of the company and his staff were all without exception helpful with their advice, friendly and eager to please.
The product really is quite stunning and with its durability and low maintenance is an outstanding product; it comes with a bit of a price but the value is more than worth it.

First class service from beginning to end. The initial visit by Mr Freed was prompt and he was thorough in measuring/assessing the area to be fenced and provided the quote at this visit. Once accepted, a mutually convenient date was agreed for installation. The two fitters were exceptionally proficient and frequently checked in with us to ensure that we were happy with progress. Once completed we were extremely pleased with the finished product. We wouldn't hesitate to use again and recommend to others.

Had a very smooth transaction with this company. Quoted over the phone from my information and fixed the date. Sonny the fitter did a tremendous job and my 10 metre fence was up in a morning. The trellis on top makes it look really classy.

The young man who came to fit our front gate, was polite, did the job of taking down old gates and fitting new ones in no time and did a very good job.

The service from start to finish was first class, the fence installers were very friendly and considerate to our garden. The fence is top quality and will last much longer than a timber one.

We decided to have new grey, ball top, railings installed to the front of our property. We contacted ColourFence through a neighbour's recommendation. The whole experience with Sharone and his team was faultless and professional and the end result was exactly what we had hoped for.

Had my 2nd Colourfence installed today at the front of the house with Colourrails and yet again they did an outstanding job as my 1st colourfence which was installed at the back of the house. My property feels more secure now especially now that I have a front gate which I did not before

Staff were quick and thoughtful when asked if they could do something extra it was not a problem to them.
I would happily recommend this company for their value for money and helpfulness.

Fence great and the men that put it up were so lovely.

Ordered a 6ft fence to run the length at the rear of my garden and a security, lockable gate, which was installed back in May this year. I was very pleased with the quality and how good it made my garden look; the blue is a gorgeous, classy colour. I’ve had lots of compliments from my neighbours and local residents, regarding my ‘In their words’ Posh Fence and Gate. Unfortunately. A few days ago, I noticed the fixings for the gate had come loose on one side, and the gate slipped when opened. I called Sharone, and explained the problem. He called round a couple of days later, and promptly put the wheels in motion to get the issue resolved the same day. The lads arrived that lunchtime and fixed the gate to a high standard.
I’m very happy with the excellent service and they way the gate problem was dealt with so promptly.
Would definitely recommend.

Colourfence Cambridge (Freed Fencing Ltd.) did an excellent job of removing an old dilapidated wooden fence and installing a long stretch of new Colourfence between our and our neighbours' gardens last month. Sharone was great from the start (no pressuring sales tactics). Special thanks to Luke and Conner for working extremely hard to get this challenging job finished in two days: they were very polite and professional and went the extra mile to get the positioning of the gate just right. Fence certainly looks built to last! Would highly recommend.
