SCAMMERS

DO NOT USE THEM, they use a scummy practice of their "free" trial isn't actually free. They force you to sign in to access their service, don't send any form of emails about your subscription, then hit you with a surprise $80USD bill after 3 days. Their support line seems to be chatbots so good luck trying to get anything done about it, STAY AWAY

Hi, we offer a three day free trial which is stated before starting, in this period you can try it just cancel within the window and no charge occurs. Its not a scam just cancel it during the trial period

No service - full charge - no refund - is this a simple scam?

I had a very disappointing experience with Codequiry.
The service did not work at all, and I never received the report I paid for.
After reporting the issue, I received no response from their support team.
To make matters worse, they continued charging me despite providing no service, and simply referred me to their strict no-refund policy.
I’m seriously considering legal action—not because of the money, but because of the feeling of having been blatantly scammed.
I strongly advise others to be cautious before using this service.

There is a three day free trial window this is going away soon, we price higher so students dont use it and subvert teachers. There is a no refund policy if someone forgets to cancel. we pay third party searchers immediately after a trial ends since your entire quota is unlocked after, this is the reason for our strict non refundable policy. we just recommend to cancel in the window to avoid this. Reports do work just contact support for any fixes.

Beware of Their Unethical Billing Practices

I had a terrible experience with Codequiry. Despite canceling my subscription on time, I was still charged for their service. Their policy of "no refunds under any circumstances" is not only unfair but also questionable, especially when the charge is clearly a mistake on their end.

To make matters worse, they claim their system is "fully automated and error-free," which is completely misleading. Mistakes can happen, but their refusal to provide a refund or even proper customer support is unacceptable. As an EU resident, I am protected by consumer rights, yet they ignored my request for a refund even after citing the law.

Their rigid policies and lack of accountability make it clear they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone considering this service to think twice and look for alternatives that value their customers and respect their rights.

We manually investigated your case thoroughly. Our logs clearly show that you signed up for a free trial and simply forgot to cancel it. The billing system is fully automated, and we verified down to the hour—72 hours from start to finish—that the trial expired and then converted exactly as described in our terms.

Despite this, we provided multiple goodwill resolutions, including free credits and even doubling your quota (over $150 in value), so you could continue using the service. Unfortunately, instead of accepting these efforts, you chose to deflect blame onto our support team.

Throughout this process, you repeatedly threatened to escalate, leave damaging reviews (as you have now done), pursue legal action, and harm our reputation—over a clear responsibility on your end to cancel a free trial before it renewed.

Our policy is transparent: the free trial must be cancelled within the 3-day period, or it will automatically renew. Because each scan uses paid third-party search engine resources, funds cannot be recovered once the trial converts. By signing up, you agreed to these terms.

Even so, we have since made changes to extend trial periods for instructors who genuinely need to use Codequiry for their classrooms. Unfortunately, many of the negative reviews come from students attempting to use the instructor trial simply for free checks, which is not what it was designed for.

We understand your frustration, but it’s not accurate to suggest an error on our end. This was simply a matter of the trial not being cancelled in time, and we did our best to assist you fairly within the policy.

Not to be trusted

I just realized Codequiry was charging me since July. They never sent me an email of any kind, they simply started charging me and when I contacted them they didn’t even bother to let me talk to a “human”, keep referring to T&C that BTW they never sent me via email.

I’d assume that’s the way they work, been not transparent at all and pretend customers were not paying attention.

Three days ago I signed up for the…

Three days ago I signed up for the services on free trial, but I didn't receive any confirmation from the company via email that I had signed up, three days later money was deducted from my account, my reason for complaining is that had I received the confirmation email for signing up for free trial, I would've made an informed decision and cancelled the subscription before it ended, I then cancelled my subscription a few moments later, but again I didn't receive confirmation that I had cancelled, and then when I checked the reviews, most declared that the company continues to deduct money even after cancellation of the subscription, which is illegal.

We’d like to clarify a few points here. All subscriptions run through Stripe, one of the most widely used and compliant billing processors—so any illegal or unauthorized charging would not even be possible on their system. When you cancel within the 3-day free trial, the cancellation is processed immediately and shown right on your billing page.

If you didn’t see the confirmation emails, it may be due to them landing in spam or promotions, but the subscription and cancellation records are always visible in your account dashboard. We don’t continue charging after cancellation—Stripe ensures this automatically.
