Good easy purchase
I have not used the Sat nav yet on a journey but it seems easy enough to navigate around it. There is a quick response with any questions to seller and a follow up utube video after you have purchased to help you. Would recommend as nothing seems too much trouble and seller is there to help with any problems. The Sat nav is a descent size and attaches easy to the dash or windscreen and has a sunshade to attach which is helpful when the sun is on the screen. I purchased because we bought a 8’ wide x 25’ long Caravan and I did not want to end up down narrow lanes , you can put you vehicle width, length and height in so now I’m going to be more confident with the way the Sat nav takes me as my old one gave me a few sticky situations. Will update once used

Just to add that the unit has been faultless since purchase avoiding low bridges etc having input vehicle details such as height/length/ weight

Firstly, the device you purchased is not the same as your previous one, despite your claim. While the software may share similarities, the maps I load onto my devices are different, ensuring up-to-date and accurate navigation.
Regarding the price, it is always displayed transparently alongside product images and details to help customers make an informed decision. I price my sat navs based on the value I provide, including UK-based customer support, large vehicle mapping to avoid unsuitable roads, free lifetime map updates, a one-year warranty, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. At £160 for a 9-inch unit, I consider this a fair and competitive offer. However, pricing is subjective, and every customer has the freedom to decide whether a product meets their expectations before purchasing.
I do wish you had reached out to me before leaving this review, as I could have addressed your concerns directly. You previously commented on my Facebook advert with similar feedback, and I responded, emphasizing that I offer a 30-day money-back guarantee—so there is no risk of you losing money if you are unsatisfied.
Additionally, you did not mention any GPS satellite issue when you first received the product. Had you contacted me, I could have provided troubleshooting steps to help reset the satellite connection, which likely would have improved the signal. I’m still happy to assist if you’d like to try resolving this.
That said, you still have until the 25th of February 2025 to return the unit for a full refund, provided it is returned in its original condition with all accessories. If you feel this sat nav isn’t right for you, I’d be happy to process your refund so you can explore other options. Should have stayed with tomtom i have used this for 1 week and been in trouble 3 times which cost me over 40mins to get back on track complete waste of money

Good customer service but poor quality product
I read the reviews and placed my order on the basis of the reviews for a sat nav to be set up for coach use. Good communication and product arrived within a couple of days. However, I was really disappointed I the quality. Very cheap in appearance and when turned on outside it did not connect to the satellites and was still searching after 21 minutes. Therefore, went for a drive and the sat nav just would not connect. Showed 3 satellites and was in and out of connecting to one satellite and then signal went red. Not happy with this I got a full refund and purchased a Tom Tom professional which is much superior and was only £149.99. £40 more.

Although in this situation, unfortunately, that specific unit you have purchased did not perform as expected, I can assure you that I did all I could to make things right. Electronic devices can sometimes be unpredictable, so out of hundreds of units, one of them may become unexpectedly faulty and I can only apologise about this once again...
My focus has always been on providing high-quality maps and reliable functionality rather than the materials or housing of the device itself or the packaging, etc. Most of my customers are very happy with my products, as my other reviews reflect, and I believe the price is fair considering the build quality and the aftersales service I provide. However, I respect your opinion.
Regarding the alternative you mentioned, with all due respect, I find the comparison a bit misleading. A brand new TomTom Professional typically costs over £250 (as of today 19 Jan 2025), so a price of £149.99 would most likely reflect a refurbished unit. While refurbished products can be a great option, I believe it’s important to compare like-for-like. For example, I also occasionally offer refurbished sat navs at prices as low as £50.
That said, I regret that the unit you purchased from me didn’t perform to your satisfaction, and I appreciate your honest feedback. If there’s anything further I can do to assist or if you’d like to discuss other options, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
