Clothkits is a shop in the heart of Chichester and is full to the brim of gorgeous fabrics, indy sewing patterns, haberdashery and yarn. It is a treasure trove of goodies for everyone who loves sewing, crafting and all things colourful! We are authorised dealers of Janome and Bernina sewing machines and offer a very personal service where you can try before you buy. We also offer a free demo for every machine bought from us! We are also authorised dealers of Liberty London fabrics and stock a huge selection of the classic Tana Lawns as well as seasonal collections.

I love the range of fabrics

I love the range of fabrics, haberdashery and patterns at Clothkits.
I wasn’t looking for anything specific, but bought a dress pattern (with SO many different options for long/short/blouse/skirt).

Quality service and goods

Easy to pre order. Prompt acknowledgement. Delivery as promised. Excellent quality of the materials in the Coronation Kit. AND a personal handwritten thank you for you order note in the packaging.

Helpful personal service

I ordered a pattern, fabric and elastic which arrived very quickly after order. More importantly a very kind person from Clothkits rang me as there was not quite 2 metres of fabric as ordered but she offered me the remnant which was perfect for my cuff top. So lovely to speak to someone and get it sorted out easily. I’m delighted.

What a great shop and staff.

I am lucky enough to be able to pick an order up from the shop.It always a delight to visit , really helpful friendly people in the shop...but oh so tempting to add to a fabric stash.

Items I have bought are excellent…

Items I have bought are excellent quality, (fabric and patterns, kit for myself and friend) delivery was very quick. Love the company; am drawn to Clothkits as I have such memories of the original shop in Lewes and its glorious kits, so innovative. Bit of nostalgia for me and why not?
