Sought quotes for the installation of a battery from 4-5 companies, several of whom didn't reply. Whilst not the cheapest quote supplied, the others all offered a system with mixed reviews online,. and having had an extremely positive experience when CSR installed an air-source heat pump earlier this year, I chose the company for this latest job.

I was not disappointed -usual attention to detail in suggesting the most suitable set-up. and careful installation of a SolaX battery by a skilled and friendly engineer who helpfully talked through work-arounds to minimise the disruption during installation.

We’ve had Climatesave install an air source heat pump at our property, we couldn’t fault the installers, they kept my house clean, were very knowledgeable and we’re very pleased with the entire process.

Spoke to a few companies regarding having a heat pump fitted. ClimateSave Renewables were very knowledgeable and answered our questions as well as being competitively priced. Just had the heat pump fitted and are very pleased. The team were very professional and respected our home. Highly recommend

I had a heat pump installed by Climate Save Renewables. Work started on 29th April and was promised to be completed within one week. It was not finished until 21st May with zero proactive communication about the delays at any point.
The damage caused to my property during this installation is serious and extensive:
🔴 Roof Damage & Water Leakage — The installation caused significant water leakage that has damaged my roof. This is not a minor issue and will require costly repairs to fix.

🔴 Electrical Short Circuit — Their work caused an electrical short circuit which has rendered my ceiling lights non-functional. Again, something that should never happen with competent, qualified engineers.

🔴 Drilling Mess in My Office — The team carried out drilling work in my home office without any protective measures whatsoever. Dust and debris was left all over the room, covering electronic equipment including laptops, monitors and printers. The lack of basic care for a workspace containing expensive equipment is staggering.

The staff sent to carry out this work were clearly inexperienced and lacked the technical competence required for a heat pump installation of this nature. for 2 days, they waited to speak to Samsung customer care to understand the Heat pump controls and they did not know it. The management, when approached with these serious concerns, showed complete indifference and no willingness to take responsibility or arrange remedial works. They never responded.
I would strongly urge anyone considering Climate Save Renewables to look elsewhere. Verify your installer is MCS-certified, check their reviews thoroughly, and get every promise — including timelines — in writing before any work begins.

These people are amazing. They did a complete re-plumb, ASHP, solar and battery install for an elderly relative in double quick time while he was away for two weeks. This, despite working miles away from their usual patch and working in a very cluttered environment. they also coped with working at the same time as other trades in the same house. The system is excellent and running well and all the debris cleared away.
Our family is so very grateful; this is the third family instal they have completed. Thank Climate Save Renewables, they really do go the extra mile/s!

The company told me that their technician could service a Nibe air source heat pump. When the technician visited he said he was not confident to do so. He said the company would call me back after he had had a chance to read up about this proposed service. Despite my subsequent call to the company they failed to call back, nor sent any explanation for so doing.

Great customer service. Had my solar system fitted a couple of years ago & all works well. However I had been having internet issues & wasn’t able to monitor my solar on my apps. Climate Save Renewables have been out several times working with me to resolve the problem. After a new unit and new installed internet it was resolved today. Can’t thank them enough, brilliant service and would recommend using them for installation if you are thinking of getting solar panels & a battery system.

The Heat pump itself works well and they have tried to help when I had any issue. I have some doubts about the Hive App - scheduling seems weird

Having been impressed with them fitting my heat pump several months ago I had my 15yr old faulty solar panels changed by ClimateSave( fitted in 2010 by different company)
Again, from initial site visit to the actual fitting of panels I was impressed with the helpfulness, workmanship and professionalism. Excellent job all round.

From start to finish the whole process of purchasing and installing a solar system at our house in Pentlow, Sudbury was absolutely first class! The team at Climate Save Renewables and associated companies are all outstanding and the service and support from start to finish was simply faultless. From the first contact we had with “Mr Solar” himself Kevin Holland we were given all the information we required to decide what system to install and Kevin’s knowledge is exceptional. His whole approach is to make sure you are completely comfortable with your understanding of all the information you require and he will take all the time in the world to answer all your questions. In terms of the survey Liam did a great job and his communication was 5 star. Rob and Dan were also simply great in terms of the installation, they were really polite, treated our house with great respect as they came in and out during the installation. We were also allowed to have the scaffolding up for a couple of extra days so a roofer could fix our roof, which was really appreciated.
So in summary we would recommend using Climate Save Renewables and the Solar Shed to anyone considering installing solar. The installation looks really smart and tidy. Just a first class experience all round!

The installation carried out by the team was very good and with no major issues. Well prepared and neatly done. System works very good in terms of hot water specially with solar and battery back up, virtually free. The heating system still needs proving out but based on the water system I don't see any major issues. I would recommend this company for future work.

Can’t have a word said against these guys - fitted an EV charger at a great price and the workmanship was superb

This is the second time I have used this company to supply and install heat pumps, full hot water system and underfloor heating. They have always shown professionalism and understanding of customer needs, from original quote through to install and after sales service.

1 star because the guy who fixed the solar panels to the roof was good. The rest of our experience was not. On initial installation in February, some items missing from our order and the quality of electrical work was so poor we complained. Received email the following day asking for full balance due, which we refused to pay. 2nd visit in March to re-do some of the original work and fit the missing items. We paid after this visit as we were refused access to the online monitoring system until we did. Then we discover the monitoring showing we were using more energy than before the solar and peak usage on days/times we were not even home. Our own research suggested incorrect installation. Multiple calls/emails only resulted in a response when I threatened legal action. 3rd visit in April confirmed issues with the installation. Engineer also admitted the solar water diverter intended to boost our hot water system had not been connected, so our immersion was on 24 hours a day. This explained why our usage had shot up despite having solar panels. We calculated this cost us around £250 in extra energy costs, which we asked to be reimbursed. This has been ignored. Legal action may well be the only way. Avoid this company.

Stay away from this company! Spend your money on your desired green energy equipment somewhere else! In my case the money was paid in full in March 2021 but they haven't finished installation they left us with a bucket in the loft where the solar thermal equipment was "installed" given that a certain piece of equipment was not available. After installation we were left with no heating in the house as no checks were done, the equipment doesn't work, the company is completely ignoring our emails. So much for customer service! After one year they sent an email about annual services and never replied back to my inquiry about costs. So I guess no annual service for us then given that they are sending emails and never replying to the customer...Stay away from this company! I would have given 0 starts if this option existed. I regret chosing them for our solar thermal. I think this is probably the worst experience one can get after paying a lot of money.
