I went in to return my son’s school shoes which he had worn for 2 days. It had been rubbing his foot so we decided to get a different style. When I told her why I was returning them she told me I could exchange the shoes and pay the difference. I was very please coz that saved me from paying for a new pair and waiting for a refund. I was happy about the customer service. Very nice helpful staff.

I was very impressed with the staff in the Tunbridge Wells store. During the busy school rush period, the staff dealt patiently and politely with some demanding customers.

From the very first moment I contacted the Tunbridge Wells store, via phone to check stock, the efficacy and polite manner Annie offered was superb. She held an item, we popped into the store and she greeted us immediately. She helped fit my daughter’s shoes and suggested alternatives to suit her feet. Utterly impressed with the faultless service, I haven’t experienced such a high standard in the retail industry for years.

Bought online and delivered to store for pick up. All went smoothly but the service by the in store staff could have been quicker. There was only one customer in the store at the time and they did not bother to ask me if I needed any help for at least 10 mins standing there at the till. I had to go and ask them for assistance.

I bought a lovely pair of red shoes with a low heel. Unfortunately I could not keep the shoes on my feet so sadly I had to return them.

I t was nice to buy in a branch of Clark’s lovely stuff.
The trains are great retro look in red would love them in blue or deep yellow or apple green.
The so comfy yet up to date look.

Femi at Tunbridge Wells Clarks today was very smiley and helpful and chatty with my 6 yr old Grandaughter and was very friendly. Made the buying of two pairs of shoes very easy! Helped that it was quiet!!!

I bought boots from Tunbridge wells branch. Isla looked after me very well and couldn’t have been more helpful and nice to deal with. Annie also assisted and answered some questions helpfully. Also lovely to deal with. They both made the experience a happy one which makes all the difference when shopping. Thank you to both of them

Liam in the Tunbridge Wells store was wonderful! We went in to get our daughters first pair of shoes and he was so patient with her pulling his hair and moving her foot as he measured. He then advised us on the best type of shoes for her and we left feeling excited and happy with the pair we bought. Thank you so much Liam, I’m so sorry my daughter was being a little pickle!!

Your colleague Beth was very quick, efficient, informed and friendly plus calm and quietly persuasive with my fidgety 5 year old during the fitting and purchase of school shoes. She’s a real credit to your business and has my sincere thanks for helping making the process easy, especially given the very busy period during which we visited the shop.

What a great experience. From start to finish!!

When we turned up to the store we were told due to kids back to school fittings they were busy and that the wait might be a while . The girl at the door who had a clipboard gave us a numbered ticket and asked to wait until called upstairs, we were advised 20mins to 30mins. They had a great range of kids shoes downstairs for us to browse while we waited.

We then within 10mins got called upstairs which was great. The wait was a little longer when we got upstairs as it was so busy and with people that had pre booked but the whole set up was well organised and we were then approached and served by Taj.

What an asset he is to your team at Tunbridge Wells!!! - his customer service was on point, he knew how to get on my kids level with conversation and was so cool with them. He was also really great with sizing and talking through his professional opinion on sizes and options. My son was easy as he’d seen a pair downstairs that he was keen on and they had his size so was a sale straight away. My daughter had her heart set on a pair but she was still in the younger school shoe age range. But Taj allowed my daughter to browse the shoes in the appropriate age range. They didn’t have either but he came out with a great alternative for her. She’s a picky kinda girl but she was persuaded and actually really likes them.

He was fab and great with the kids and I. He wasn’t flustered by the business of the room and gave us time when we needed it!!!

I know from working in retail myself that you need to be a certain kind of person to work in retail… and he was made for it!! Great personality!!! Keep hold of him!!

We have SEN twins and I was quite worried about the busy noisy store with lots of other parents needing school shoes. I explained to the staff and the served us in the quieter area of the store. They also turned the music off for us.
Amy was excellent at advising us on shoes for children with sensory issues. She was so helpful. Both girls got shoes and were happy.
