I was so surprised with the level of support I got from Jamie from Oxford Street London store.I left the store with a big smile on my face, he was so patient and tried his best to satisfy me. Oxford Street store didn't have the size that I wanted but he tried his best to order the one that was best for me

I don't know what happened to Clarks UK, used to be a good high street store but my experience buying a pair of GORE-TEX black leather shoes at the store in 60 Oxford Street, London is definitely a very bad one indeed. They only give you the right shoe to try on, which was fine, but after paying for the pair, the next day when I tried both shoes to go to a meeting, by the time I walked to the train station my left ankle was already bleeding from the back of the shoe. So I went straight to the 60 Oxford Street store and explained the shop attendant what happened plus showed her my bleeding ankle but she said there are no returns once shoes are worn and all she could do is offer a different left shoe. But the other left shoe I tried is still not the same as the right one in terms of not scratching my ankle. I tried calling Clarks UK but ended up in a queue waiting in vain for someone to answer, tried the chat-bot option but once I uploaded a picture of my ankle wound the bot said to wait for an operator to be transferred to, which never came.
All'n all a disappointing experience and they don't even deserve the one star rating.

I came in to buy new work shoes, and the staff provided excellent service. The gentleman who assisted me was very knowledgeable about shoes and took the time to answer all my questions, helping me find the perfect pair.

At the till, Fatima was extremely helpful. She gave me great tips on how to take care of my shoes. She also went to the stock room to give me a pristine pair of shoes when I noticed they were slightly creased.

I really appreciated how efficient and attentive the team was, ensuring I got everything sorted. Great experience and I’m happy with the very comfortable shoes!

Naima was so jolly and helpful even at 7pm. We tried shoes, she offered insoles. She couldn't have been more helpful unlike the first miseriguts who I asked to help me

The shoe I purchased was too big so has to return it. The process was easier than I expected. It was purchased online so I thought I would have to return it then wait to be refunded. However i took it to the store and they just exchanged it

The click and collect option is not well integrated logistically. They use Royal Mail to deliver their own products to their stores, instead of doing so internally. This means there is no notification of the item being delivered. I am lucky I've done this a few times and I'm familiar with the issue but the first time I did click and collect the item was returned without notifying me, as it stayed in the store for too long without me knowing.

Thank you to Clarks for bringing in the option of buying split sizes- I always find it incredibly difficult to buy shoes (UK 3 and UK7) and it made such a huge difference not having to buy two pairs at full price. Kelly at Tottenham Court road was super helpful and persistent trying to find both sizes. It really means so much, when something that is usually such a difficult process, is made easy by being inclusive and accepting. Thank you again!
