She helped get the process through quickly given how exhausted and frustrated I was with the day's journey. Even slightly moaned about it too.

Wide-fitting heel seems standard now
As kids we always had Clarks shoes, and later as an adult I continued to be a fan and bought all my shoes (trainers) only there. Good fit, sturdy and very long-lasting. The last few years nothing much has appealed, but recently they brought out a few nice looking styles, so I excitedly tried them all out. My gripe is the wide-fitting heel. Every trainer and walking shoe I have tried on is the same. It is such a shame and very disappointing.
Update: I haven't complained to Customer Care. I'm simply pointing out that all the trainers and walking shoes I tried on recently had wide-fitting heels, which wasn't the case a few years ago.

It is difficult for us to comment on the comfort of your shoes as this is such a personal thing. Not all shoes fit in the same way and you may not necessarily be the same size in every style. We suggest that new shoes are worn at home, before going outside, to assess their suitability.

Comfortable leather shoes at Clarks and good customer care
Visited the Clarks shop in Oxford Street yesterday and was greeted and served by really lovely staff, they were so helpful and kind. A great offer of 20% off when buying two pairs of shoes was too difficult to avoid. Therefore a very happy customer was I to leave with two very comfortable pairs of extra-wide fitting shoes ( as anyone will know who has wide feet that comfortable shoes are not always easy to find) . Also delighted that they have leather uppers, again for this price it was a treat. My granddaughter is delighted with her pair - she is now a convert to Clarks shoes. Very happy. Highly recommended.

Brilliant Shop Assistant
The shop assistant was very helpful in helping me to get a pair of sandals in my size that I really wanted to purchase. I made the purchase in Clarks Oxford Street London. She was really helpful, and I got my sandals via post to my home!

Great service.
I visited the 260 Oxford street store last week fora pair of men’s shoes and was most impressed with the service provided by Sangeetha. She was the only person behind the cash desk while also attending to customers, fetching shoes they required from the back of the store to try on and advising on options. There was a constant flow of customers she had to deal with. It was amazing how well she was multitasking and all with a smile. Because of her advice I came out with two pairs of shoes. It would be so much better if an additional member of staff was given to her to assist her. Thank you Sangeetha for your excellent service. My only disappointed was the limited range of shoes on display.

Today i went on Oxford street store to buy a pair of shoes. Nevertheless store was extremely busy staff was friendly ,welcoming and attentive.
Big thumbs up for amazing Louise,so friendly,professional and very attentive . She made me feel like a star. She has amazing customer service skill.
At the till Lyesther was friendly and patient with my card not working.
Found what i was looking for.
