Contacted all of the usual estate agents in the area before choosing CJ Hole Bradley Stoke to sell our house - it was an easy decision. They were the only ones who, on initial call (with Ian), were happy to have a chat and listen rather than demand our name and the address of house etc, and after choosing them, Ian was subsequently open and honest about the purchase price, state of the market and what we should do/not do before putting on market, it renewed our faith in estate agents. We sold very quickly and Amey was fantastic as the sales progression contact who came back quickly on queries and helped liaise with the relevant parties. Would recommend then unreservedly

Recently sold a property via CJ Hole. Matthew and Cameron looked after the process very well and were always on hand to answer my questions and chase things up. The sale wasn’t without (small) complications so was very pleased with the help I got.

Would not hesitate to recommend CJ Hole to others or use them in the future

Purchased a property through CJ Hole. Although very happy with our purchase, this very much felt despite CJ Hole. We were thankful for a supportive solicitor who acted as a barrier against the constant hassle we had from CJ Hole. They fabricated urgency where it did not exist. Played on any anxieties we had as 1st time buyers. They made an already stressful process much much worse.

They didn't maintain our apartment, despite countless emails, calls, and even us turning up at their office... I had a blood stained mattress from a previous tennant for 2 months which they were supposed to replace. And at the end of tenancy they tried to charge us for cleaning and damaged despite how well we cleaned it. After we moved out some items mysteriously went missing, which we were charged for as we foolishly didn't take any pictures when we left...

Terrible service - beyond a joke!

We are just about to complete on the sale of our house here in St George. We have nothing but praise for Justin and Ryan from CJ Hole Redfield. They were professional, helpful, supportive and gave what could have been a stressful experience a touch of fun. First class experience. Thank you!

Have just completed the sale of my late fathers property with CJ Hole. Got off to a bad start with another agent in Bristol, so had a very negative view of the agent services available to sellers.
From my first meeting with Andy Musker from CJ Hole I was filled with confidence. Andy provided a clear outline of what I could expect in terms of service and cost, along with what him and the team would support with during the journey.
I was then put in touch with Ryan Burt, who done exactly what he said he would do during each step of the process. He kept me fully updated during viewings and throughout to completion of the sale.
Extremely professional and honest approach, something other Bristol agents appear to be lacking.
Extremely grateful for the support from Ryan throughout and will be heading straight to CJ Hole if I need a house agent in the future.

Overall it was good. The property sellers were all helpful with buyers. In particular, Ben Johnson, manager at the Bishopsworth Office was extremely helpful with whom I had first contact. Would recommend Ben.

Quaid Sheppard - letting agent at CJ Hole is fantastic! He was super helpful and efficient, quick to organise viewings and help us with the perfect flat to move in to!

I would recommend Ethan Marlborough who was helpful, understanding and patient in assisting us to rent a terraced house in Cheltenham in February 2023.

I don't even know how this company has managed to receive anything more than one star. They are absolutely useless, I have no idea what their staff do all day because it certainly isn't helping their customers. They have time and time again failed to fix things properly and reply to my emails. The flat I have rented in Bristol is quite frankly disgusting and they couldn't care less. If you are looking to rent I would avoid at all costs and find a more respectable company. I haven't heard a good word about this company so I have no idea where any positive reviews are coming from.

Recently sold a flat in Worcester through CJ HOLE and was impressed by the service on what was a complicated sale.

We recently purchased a property and CJ Hole Worcester were the Estate Agents.we dealt with Georgina and Gareth and for us, the whole experience was very well managed, we had regular communication, organised a number of viewings at various times ,they chased the sellers Solicitors frequently to expedite the process and get clarification for us and most importantly the purchase was completed on time. We even got a really thoughtful gift and card which we thought was a really nice touch .All of this was made possible by Georgina who really ensured that they did the basics well and kept us updated at all times and she’s a credit to CJ Holes Worcester and an excellent ambassador for an industry that gets a bad reputation and would highly recommend this team for their professionalism and service standards.

Have been unable to arrange a simple viewing. Spoke with several different people but all were incapable of a response to any requests.

Terrible customer service with every single employer we've dealt with. Rude, and arrogant people.
They waste your time, and lie to you every-time you arrange an appointment. On top of that they are not showing up for viewings, neither reply to you emails.
AVOID AT ALL COST.

We were interested in a property in Stourport and C J Hole could not have been more disinterested. I had to chase for updates when we had questions and when we put an offer in we also had to chase for updates. They didn’t even have the decency to let us know when the vendor had accepted another offer. We only found out when the property was removed online. We are now buying using a different agent and they update us constantly and contact us even when they don’t have anything new to report just to let us know that they hadn’t forgotten us which is what you would expect as good customer service and common courtesy.

Lovely people but could not sell the property. Suggested lowering the price by over 10% which we refused. Moved to another agent and sold at the full price.

My friend has had a very bad experience with C J Hole Lettings in Gloucester. They have served her family a section 21 notice to quit the tenancy. She's a good tenant always paid rent on time and kept the house very clean and tidy. But when she reported too many maintenance issues she was threatened with eviction. My friend is seriously ill but when she tried to explain this to C J Hole they coldly told her it wasn't any of their business. Now she's facing homelessness with her children. AVOID THIS AGENCY.
