I went with City Moves after looking at loads of options, and honestly, they totally lived up to all the amazing reviews I’d seen. The whole process was smooth, hassle-free, and way less stressful than I expected.

They showed up right on time—actually early at 7 a.m.—and got straight to work. In less than an hour, they’d dismantled and packed all the furniture, then hit the road. It was a long trip, over 200 miles, but they still arrived in the afternoon, reassembled everything, and placed all the furniture exactly where I wanted it. Not a single thing was damaged.

Their prices were very reasonable and super competitive compared to others I’d checked. Plus, they even sent me boxes and packing materials for free, and the three guys who came to load were quick, careful, and efficient.

Big thanks to City Moves for making what could have been a stressful day into such a smooth, positive experience. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional moving company at a fair price.

I booked City Moves because they had moved my sister a couple of years ago and were great. I am pleased to say they were fantastic again. Turned up on time. The team were excellent, polite, hard working and above all they cared for everything. Plenty of protection of flooring and furniture. They had all the gear to wrap sofas, beds etc. A very professional outfit. I also got a move pack which was excellent. I would highly recommend City Moves.

Excellent service from start to finish. Booking very simple, they understood my needs and advised appropriately. Prices were competitive. I opted to pack myself but they provided all boxes free of charge. On the day, the moving team arrived early, were really friendly and professional. They took good care of my property and belongings. This is the second time I've used them and would strongly recommend

Really professional and quick at their job. Furniture was handled with care and the washing machine was handled at both ends. Would defiantly use them again in the future.

Great movers. The guys were very friendly and took real care with packing and unpacking. We were really happy with condition of our goods when they came out of storage. No damage at all!

The guys turned up on time. Because of the steep drive had to drive up forward,which made their job more difficult but they adapted and got on with the job. They were all professional, polite, respectful effecient and fast. All this came with good team work and great sense humour.

I would like to say their comitment to a high standard was noted.
Unfortunately I cant quite remember their names...... Although I'm told Elvis played a large part of the move lol.....

We recently moved from the South of England to the North West, we chose the standard move service so we packed everything ourselves.
Every single person that we spoke to and dealt with from start to finish were fantastic, the surveyor was really knowledgable and the quotation process was so nice and simple.
The staff kept me updated and answered any questions that I had to ensure that I was fully informed on process/itinerary/payment etc.
I was dreading move day, we were tired and emotional, Chris & Mario arrived to complete the move and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. They were polite, chatty, added absolutely no pressure throughout the day and were just amazing. They took care of all of our belongings and everything fit perfectly in the truck.
The following day in the North, Chris & Mario arrived exactly when they were due to arrive, they unloaded and again took care with all of our belongings, they placed everything in the rooms that they belonged in and made everything super easy. They worked so hard and I am incredibly grateful for such a great experience, I will be recommending City Moves to others and will absolutely use them again.

It wasn't far to move, just 10 miles up the valley to a small village. But there were over 60 boxes, including many books and two heavy items: a piano and a hidden desk. City Moves arrived by 8am and were packed up by 10. Everything was done with care and that includes the unloading. The cost was reasonable and customer services was excellent. It was always easy to speak to someone on the phone who knew exactly what was happening with our move. It took the stress out of moving (well the actual moving part at least!) Highly recommended.

What fantastic service from start to finish. Everybody such hard workers, going out of their way to make this stressful and difficult process so much easier. The team were so attentive, careful of personal items, quick and friendly. We enjoyed working with them. Welsh spoken too by two workers which was a bonus. They even returned to our old property to collect forgotton items. They all deserve a payrise.

Cannot fault the service from city moves. From the office staff to the boys who packed us and moved us over two days. Made a stressful process a lot easier! Would 100% recommend!

This is the first time I have had to use a moving company to move house and was quite apprehensive about the process. I have to say dealing with the team at City Moves proved my concerns unfounded.
