Citizens Life Group is a licensed life settlement brokerage in Orlando, Florida. We work with seniors across the United States who own life insurance they no longer need, or can no longer comfortably afford. Most policyholders know only two ways out of a policy they no longer want: stop paying and let it lapse, or surrender it to the insurer for its cash value. There is a third. A life settlement lets you sell a qualifying policy to an institutional buyer for a lump sum, often many times what the insurer would pay to surrender it. We are a brokerage, not a buyer, and we work only for the seller. That means we owe you a fiduciary duty, set in state law, to act in your interest. It also means a process built on competition: your policy goes in front of a network of institutional buyers who bid against one another, so the strongest offer comes to you. Our commission is paid from the settlement proceeds only if you sell, which keeps our incentive identical to yours, the highest number the market will pay. Where we are not licensed, we work alongside fiduciary-affiliated brokers licensed in those states. Honesty is part of the deal. If a policy doesn't qualify, we say so. If keeping it, or another option entirely, serves you better than selling, we'll tell you that too. A policy review costs nothing, stays confidential, and comes with no obligation.
