My wife and I just closed on our first home with Churchill. Our Loan Specialist was Chris Shrader. Chris absolutely made the experience of getting our mortgage smooth and straightforward. He helped us understand exactly what we were getting ourselves into and gave us honest numbers that grounded our expectations while helping us reach to where we needed to be to land our perfect first home.

Chris fervently pursued our best interests and helped us know what to expect at each step of the process. He helped us think through big decisions without leading us down a chosen path, which really made the homebuying experience so much less stressful than we thought it was going to be. He personally worked with our realtor and personally advocated for us everywhere he could.

He kept the numbers in front of us and helped us prepare for the worst case, but ensured that our final closing costs were within our reach. We were able to close while feeling comfortable about our finances. I didn't feel any sticker shock on closing day!

Chris pursued making us Certified Home Buyers even as the home search happened quickly, and we were ready to be the first offer on a home that's better than we expected for our budget. I won't forget the hard work and the service that Chris provided my family and I would recommend Chris and Churchill to anybody - in fact, I wouldn't recommend anyone else! His experience has depth and breadth, and his careful hand and eye throughout the process, along with the personal touch and knowledge he added to every interaction, really brought peace of mind and security to the home-buying process. It was the most critical factor in one of the most critical financial transactions my family will ever make.

Please do yourself a favor and AVOID using this company for a mortgage. They hide behind a pretense of religion, pushing their Christianity down your throat while attempting to ROB you blind with fees and trying to drive up the price of your home so that they can make more money. We were trying to finance our home and were forced to use this lender because we were in a lease-purchase program (HALO). Churchill's mortgage officer tried to do everything he could to make a home worth $360K worth $400K so that he could, in turn, make more money from the home. Thankfully, the appraisal came back from an honest appraiser, and we fought Churchill every step of the way to ensure that we paid a fair and equitable amount for our home. At one point, we had to call our places on our closing documents where we were being double charged and railroaded for fees. Even the title company stated that we were being taken advantage of, and they stepped in to help us get to closing because they felt so bad about it. AVOID these Christian thieves and liars. They had the audacity to send a book to us, written by their CEO, about how to use faith to help our finances, endorsed by another so-called Christian Dave Ramsey. Dave is from Nashville and has a reputation as being one of the worst employers in terms of pay and how horribly he treats his employees. I hope they sell our mortgage soon. I hate to send them checks for fear they will somehow try to drain our bank account.

Scott was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to provide us with the best rate, he kept us informed throughout the entire process, and he was friendly and attentive! I would definitely recommend Scott.

Churchill Mortgage was such an incredible experience. Churchill was just so different than others we spoke with. You could hear a genuine care, honest feedback, and that “heart of a teacher” type guidance. Will never use any other mortgage company again! We are sold on Churchill, and you must give them a go!

I had the pleasure of working with Cj and his team to purchase my first home. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure! From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, they were very professional and patient and stayed in touch and kept me informed each step of the way. We've been followers of Dave for years and have been applying his principles to our finances until we decided to get a home with Churchill Mortgage. I would NOT advise Churchill. Our loan officer did not know anything, was very passive, gave excuses, and would give a fake apology if he made a mistake. After we finally closed, we were notified (in writing) that Churchill would retain our loan and remain our servicer for the entirety of our loan, and our loan would not be transferred. After only three payments to Churchill, our loan is scheduled to transfer to a mortgage company with unethical standards filed with BBB, CFPB, and many lawsuits. We went with Churchill because we felt and did our due diligence that they were the best option. Now we realize we were just a transaction and were not taken care of.

My Churchill representative (Morgan) was fabulous.

He was very helpful in navigating various mortgage options and was extremely responsive when dealing with the title company on closing details.

This is the 3rd time I have used Churchill for a mortgage transaction and I will definitely use them again!

Michelle and her team were beyond helpful. When we thought there may be some difficulties, she always had the answer. Michelle treated us with dignity and respect. When the prime bread winner is self employed, most mortgage brokers treat us like we are second class citizens instead of realizing it is a mutual win/win. We need to loan money and lenders make money by earning the interest in loaning money. We have excellent credit and had the income. Being self-employed makes getting a mortgage much more difficult. We came to Churchill and found Michelle after being made to jump through ridiculous hoops and felt like we were looked down upon by a different broker. Michelle and her team got what they needed with respect and went above and beyond. We finally felt like we were a valued client instead of beggers. The first lender we contacted tried to come back and offer to meet or beat the rate and cash back a week before closing. We stayed with Michelle and her team and Churchill because they worked hard to get our deal done, and respected and valued us. We in turn were loyal and respected her and her team right back. It was a pleasure to do business with Michelle and her team.

From the first phone call regarding obtaining a new mortgage, Andrew was very informative and found the perfect loan for my situation. His communication regarding the loan and the process was top notch. Questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. And worked closely with my agent and together they were a great team. For a first time home buyer, I was initially anxious about the whole process but Andrew made everything so easy and it went very smoothly alleviating any anxiety I initially felt. Even though my settlement was a few weeks ago, Andrew still follows up to make sure I don't have any questions or need anything. Not many lenders would show up for closing. He did and I am grateful.
