Return from Europe not accepted – high costs and no workable solution
I returned my entire order to the U.S. address provided by the shop, with fully correct customs documentation, and paid €135 in return shipping. The shop then refused to accept the parcel, which caused it to be sent back to me. Since then, they have not provided a clear solution and have ignored the two options DHL confirmed are available in such cases (acceptance with fees or destruction). Instead, they repeatedly suggest sending the parcel to the same address again, which is exactly what caused the refusal and high costs in the first place.
Conclusion: Returns from Europe appear unreliable with this retailer. Despite correct handling on my side, I was left with significant costs and no practical support. European customers should be aware of these risks.
