I wouldn’t give this company 1 star but it appears that is not an option. The material was a joke. The cheapest of the cheap and my husband and daughter laughed out loud when I opened it. Waiting to hear back about my refund but after reading these other reviews, it looks like they make it impossible.

Exactly as others. Dress ended up coming from Shanghai and arrived way later than event . Sent back ,£17 cost , they never refunded and then blocked my email. Now website is shut down

Terrible experience!!! I ordered a dress that did not fit due to the fact the top was poorly made. I wanted to get a refund which was so difficult to navigate . Eventually I was sent an address in China to send the dress too. The cost was £22.50 which was nearly the cost of the dress!!! I emailed back to say I was not happy and have had no reply back. I have now been left with a dress that does not fit and £30.00 less off 😡 DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

I was in contact with them and they asked for pictures of return receipt from post office and package etc. I had to pay £10 to return it to china and did not receive a refund and they have been ignoring all my emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Scammers

Worst company I have ever bought from. They are fraudsters. They are the same as veloralondon.

Poor quality clothing. Nothing like the image advertised. When I asked for my refund, they stated I would have to pay for the return fees to China! Vile company that should not be trading a complete scam!!!

Useless company shocking customer service

Has anyone who have purchased from this disgusting company been able to contact them to return an item. I have ordered a dress costing nearly £40, it’s like rag and never a size XL. All my emails to them are being returned as undeliverable

This company is a scam, stealing peoples’ money & very problematic to be refunded for goods that are the wrong size. I ordered an xxl they sent a small. Cheap material, shoddy stitching, not as described in their sales pitch.
Dress cost £40+ DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.. no way has this been sent from the address shown on package.. which is in the Uk.. Chinese writing all over the label

This retailer is NOT based in Manchester, as advertised, and in fact the goods are made and imported from china. The dress I received is poorly made with cheap material, and the retailer refuses any returns. Complete SCAM!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I ORDERED 3 identical dresses all made in china, the quality was absolutely disgusting no pockets as advertised a 5 year old could have seen them better, I had to pay £21.75 for return tracking and have only received refund for 2.
The email info@charlottemanchester is a waste of time she will reply from Ana, it just bounces back generic emails be patient and wait 2/5 working days for your refund I have been waiting 2 months, I would not even rate any stars only gave this 1 so I can warn other people this is a rip off website DO NOT TRUST OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE .

Misselling and misleading!

Dreadful Company - totally fraudulent. The dress received is like a nasty nylon nightie that I wouldn't even wear to bed! Based in China - sizing of dress is 4 sizes smaller than I ordered. Refund policy is not worth a bean! Complained 3 times and they offered me 50% off another dress - like I'd ever order from them again.
Their website says based in Manchester, UK - They are not! If you call the 0207 number on their website it's a private Equity company in London - AVOID at all costs.

Utterly fake Chinese company. The clothing quality is awful plus arrived damaged.

Tried returning the dress. They were swift offer a replacement dress at no extra cost or need to return the crap one. But when I asked for a refund, they insisted i returned the dress to a chinese address first. I obviously complained, so they offered a 50% refund. The next email then changed to a 20% refund and what they were actually offering wasa 50% off my next purchase. I have asked them several times for clarification but the goal posts keep being moved and now I am at the point where, Ana, their apparent Customer Service advisor, is no longer replying to my emails.

Something needs to be done to take action against these foreign companies falsely advertising as British companies.
