We advertise a despatch time of up to two working days, and your order was placed on Friday and despatched on Tuesday, which falls within that timeframe. That said, we appreciate that from a customer's perspective it can feel longer when this falls over a weekend.
We always aim to despatch orders placed on a Friday as early as possible the following week. On this occasion, however, we experienced a particularly busy period when your order was placed, which meant it wasn't despatched until Tuesday. If you ever need an order urgently, please leave a note at checkout and we'll be happy to check with our despatch team to see whether we can accommodate your request.

There was a slight hiccup with emails which was quickly addressed when i contacted Chards and my order was delivered soon after.

Having looked into your order, we believe the change in value may be related to movements in the underlying gold price rather than the premium charged. Whilst precious metal prices can rise, they can also fall, and we have seen a decline in gold prices over the last week which would directly affect the value of holdings.
Our premiums are reviewed daily to ensure we remain competitive within the market, and the premium paid at the time of purchase remains unchanged after the transaction. Changes in the market value of your bullion are driven primarily by fluctuations in the precious metal price.
We have attempted to contact you by telephone to discuss this further, as we'd be happy to explain how bullion pricing works, including the relationship between the metal's intrinsic value, market movements, and dealer premiums.
Please feel free to contact our Sales team if you'd like to discuss this in more detail. We're always happy to help explain how precious metal investments are priced and valued.
