Bunch of scammers. Please don’t ignore all the negative reviews. China products of terrible quality, fit, tailoring. Terrible customer service. I’m surprised they’re still allowed to operate. Avoid at all cost!!! There should be a campaign to clamp them down. Robbing people of their hard earned money. They advertise as a UK store, source and dispatch some cheap items from China far from what’s advertised on their website.

Another fraudulent Chinese knock off shop.

Chaps of London are not even in London. If you Google Map their address, which claims to be a clothing shop at 27 Old Gloucester Street, it’s actually a small block of flats.

This is exactly the same as Williams Plymouth, who claim to be a London clothing company based at 4 Princes Street, yet the Google image of that place is ‘Neat Burgers’!!!!

I managed to stop my transactions quickly enough that they didn’t go through with both companies but this is appalling fraud and needs stopping. Have reported both companies to trading standards for false advertising.

Chinese company producing cheap imitations. Avoid at all costs. Returns are expensive and not worth it plus they make it difficult.

Scammers, I wanted to return a product and despite their returns page showing a UK address they ask to return to China.

In addition it's a fake company, the company number on their website relates to a completely different company on company's house.

1 star cause can’t give none. 2 week wait time to receive underwear that was not the size advertised. Ordered 3xl and wasn’t even an xl at best. Wish I’d read the reviews. Thankfully paid with PayPal so shall be able to start the grievance process. Avoid this company.

The clothing comes from China, is extremely poor quality and is nothing like the items shown on the website. If you contact them they offer discounts or to send them back to China. Do not waste your money it is nothing more than a scam!

I ordered 3 items from their glossy (sic) on-line advertising and received much later than anticipated ill fitting, poorly, nay badly put together cloth. I will state their products are rubbish, absolute rubbish and no way did they indicate that the goods are produced and sent from China and not as seen advertised London.

I placed and paid for a order online, assuming it was coming from a London Store.
This store does not exist, its only a residential address, and the order come from China in about 2 weeks.
When the Jacket arrived it was far too small, and very POOR quality, and also the colour ordered did not match the discription.
I contacted Chaps and was offered an exchange for which there was a fee, or I could return the goods to an address they gave which was in China, all of which at my expense.
This would be very expensive to do, and not worthwhile.
DO NOT BUY from this company.
I also not that the "Company Registration" they show on their website is registered to another company DAA MEDIA SOLUTIONS LTD a micro company!

Ordered from Chaps size too small poor quality took over two weeks to arrive . Contacted them loads for return and refund. Then was told I have to pay more and offered the right size for handling charges. Still not been resolved . Absolutely rubbish customer service. Do not buy from this company. Scammers!!! All the way from China not London

AVOID. THERE IS NO SHOP AT THE ADDRESS. THE TELEPHONE CODE IS FOR FRANCE. THE ITEMS COME FROM CHINA AND ARE VERY POOR QUALITY. TOTAL SCAM

This is a TOTAL FRAUD and should be avoids at all costs

Stay away from this company—they are scammers. They cloned another website with similar products. They are not UK-based, as described on their site; instead, they ship their stock from China. The quality is very poor. I ordered linen shirts but received a wrinkled pile of fabric that was 35% cotton and 65% polyester. When I tried to return the items, I was told it would be too expensive to return them to China. They initially offered me a 20% refund, which was later increased to 25%. It’s a joke, and I wish I had read the reviews first!

PLEASE DO NIT BUY from this company. There clothes are of the poorest quality I have ever come across. When you return to the address on the package they then send you another address on another email. Then then offer you 25% refund. I never took the refund and I have reported them to Investigations and enforcement services. They have been dissolved since August 2024 but still trading. They are just fraudsters in my eyes. Just read everyone’s reviews.

If I could, I would give this company zero stars, or even minus. My wife ordered me a shirt from Chaps of London via there website, when it arrived it was clearly sized wrong. When I contacted Chaps of London, they told me that I needed to return it to China at my own expense, even-though the packaging in which the shirt had arrived in, had an UK return address. When I asked why I could not return it to the UK address on the packaging I was told that it is not there ‘real address.’ I was then offered a 25% refund, and told that I could keep the shirt, maybe one day I will lose eighteen inches off my waist!!! A number of times I have told them that I will not accept a 25% refund, and the reply is ‘We will give you a 25% refund, and the case is now closed’.
There is a phone number on their website, it is a French number and guess what the number is not in service! It is clear that this company is not in London, or France and they are in China.
I will say their website looks very professional, but the professionalism stops there!
Do yourself a favour and keep away from Chaps of London.

DO NOT BUY FROM CHAPS OF LONDON. They are scammers selling bad quality badly made rubbish. I ordered “cotton/linen” shirt which took weeks to arrive obviously from china. It had no labels and was obviously made of synthetic cheap material. Complete waste of money. Went straight into bin. No point trying to get refund from them

Just received from China, after over two weeks , a badly made , poor quality , badly printed, ill fitting and overpriced shirt ,that has no care instructions that has gone straight in the bin.
Chaps of London should be ashamed of the dross they supply. The quicker they go bust the better.

do not use this company they are crooks !!!.. they send faulty goods that are very poor quality and then demand that you have to send them back registered post to China in order to get a refund . it costs more to send it than the items are worth

Completely agree with Joanne below, I had exactly the same experience: If I could give 0 stars, I would. Shoes were meant to be suede and were synthetic. The photo on the website did not even remotely resemble the item that arrived directly from China. I tried to get a full refund as goods misdescribed. I think the email response was a standard letter the company use for all complaints. Finally £7.50 back on a £30 purchase which was the best they would offer unless I returned the package to China. NEVER buy from Chaps of London! Awful quality, a complete rip off! IS THIS EVEN LEGAL? AM IN TOUCH WITH TRADING STANDARDS
