A really helpful and useful way to get time back from preparing resources and power points. Using previous work or information Chalkie puts it all together; interactive lessons and activities that help to build and confirm understanding of what has been taught. This has given me back so much of my time I can actually remain up to date with all the other tasks teaching now requires.

Chalkie has been very useful for creating engaging and well-structured lesson presentations. It saves a considerable amount of planning time, while still allowing me to adapt the slides, questioning and level of challenge to suit my students. To all those teachers out there wondering if they should pay for a Chalkie subscription… the answer is YES. Have I given it 5 stars… not yet… it’s new and ironing out some little glitches, but it is excellent. I have 25 years of teaching experience, so I say this as a teacher that planned prior to any of these tools in the olden days 🤭. It is a wonderful tool for helping you plan purposeful lessons, useful open-ended activities and games and worksheets that support your lesson. You can input all the instructions, examples you have previously created, syllabus references etc and you can make edits and changes as you go. It saves you time and gives you some personal time back. You can/must review and tweak everything you create, but that’s just good practice as you all know. Don’t hesitate… I do think this is a useful tool that is worth the investment.
