After my consultation with Mr Daya, where we discussed my treatment options I paid a deposit to Centre for Sight for a future operation and was told (by the black female on the reception desk in their Oxshott office) that the deposit of £500 was FULLY REFUNDABLE if I chose not to proceed with the treatment.
A few days later, I decided to have a second opinion, so the following week I went to see Moorfields Private. There, I was informed that, in their opinion, the treatment that I was recommended at Centre for Sight (Supracor LASIK in one eye and standard LASIK in the other) was not the optimal solution to correct my vision.
As such, I asked for a refund from Centre for Sight as I would not be proceeding with their treatment. I was then surprised to be told that there was a £100 fee for cancellation, contrary to what I was told at the time that I paid the deposit.
I wouldn't use the services of this company as its staff are basically dishonest.

The care, consideration was exceptional. Miss Espinosa and her team were all very focused on keeping me appraised on what to expect, the procedure and they were only too happy to explain if I was unsure.

I can’t thank Mr Sheraz Daya and the team at Centre for Sight enough for the exceptional care and expertise I received.
After cataract surgery at Moorfields using EDOF premium lenses, I was left with a significant refractive surprise — extremely short-sighted, which I had never been before. It was incredibly upsetting and knocked my confidence. Mr Daya reviewed my case and explained that the original lenses were likely not suitable for my eyes based on the initial biometry.
He recommended a lens exchange, starting with my right eye, using a trifocal lens. Given that these particular EDOF lenses are very difficult to remove — especially a year post-implantation — I was understandably nervous. However, I was given ample time to ask every question I had over several consultations, with extremely thorough testing and clear, detailed follow-up notes each time.
The level of care and customer service at Centre for Sight has been consistently excellent. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the improvement in my vision has been dramatic: from 6/45 to 6/9.5. I can now manage without glasses for most tasks, which is a huge relief.
I’m still considering whether to have the left lens replaced or stick with blended vision — a more complicated decision due to floaters and scarring from the original surgery — but I know I’m in the best possible hands.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking honest, expert advice and world-class eye care

I’m writing regarding my experience with Mr David Shahnazaryan who has looked after my eyesight for the past two years. I’ve found him to be exceptional in his field of expertise. His attention to detail and care when examining my eyes is always very thorough. I am hugely reassured by his caring manor and ability to discuss with me the various stages of the medical investigations and potential treatment options. I have huge confidence in him and his attentive staff.

I had an appointment with Dr. Shahnazaryan this morning, which I ultimately chose to leave before its conclusion due to his deeply unprofessional conduct. From the beginning, his manner was dismissive and needlessly condescending. He spoke to the nurse, who was both kind and highly efficient, in a patronizing way that I found completely inappropriate, and his tone toward me was even worse.
Despite multiple scans of my eyes, Dr. Shahnazaryan stated that he was unsure whether he could perform the procedure I had been referred for, yet he suggested numbing my eyes “just in case he was mistaken ( this would put me out of action for hours).” I found this approach to be careless and lacking in both clarity and confidence. His communication style felt abrupt and disrespectful throughout, which made it extremely difficult to trust his clinical judgment or feel comfortable under his care.
In all my experiences within medical settings, I have never encountered such rudeness or felt so belittled by a healthcare professional. It was both upsetting and unacceptable, and I will not be returning for any future appointments with him. Thank you for responding - I am sure his recollection does indeed vary but you only need to look at previous feedback to see that my experience was not a one off. I am surprised that as a business you would ignore such behaviour. Best wishes.

I was suprised how calm I felt having decided on getting multifocal lenses. I was put at ease by Mr Daya when he talked me through the process at my initial consultation. The operation was very straightforward and I hardly knew when it was all over. I am delighted with the result 20/20 vision. I can read any small print!

I have received excellent treatment at cfs, from the skill of the surgery to the support team, the staff are always helpful, caring and hardworking, in particular Adora has been very kind and informative. I am impressed .
Mr. Daya, Joe and the rest of the team were fantastic. Throughout my journey with them they have been kind, professional, efficient and reassuring and I could not recommend them highly enough. They exceeded my expectations in every aspect of my care.

The staff, including the surgeon Mr Dyer, were extremely friendly, informative and efficient, explaining the process and potential downsides clearly. Any initial concerns about the surgery were addressed and on the actual day everything went smoothly, you could almost call it a nonevent. I’m very happy and would recommend the surgery and centre for sight. I’ve had my final appointment today, I can’t get used to having such incredible eyesight, it’s amazing and I’m sure I’ll be able to take it for granted soon.

The whole process, start to finish, is first class. The facility at East Grinstead is superb and the staff were friendly and professional. The consultant, Saj Khan, is fantastic, a great communicator as well as being a leader in his work.
I had replacement lenses, after 3 months they became a little cloudy, distorting my vision. This is a known problem. I booked a consultation, within 2 hours I had been assessed and had laser treatment. No fuss, no problem, job done 👍.

Mr Dyer at East Grinstead was outstanding in his quick response to a difficult situation. Following consultations he found narrow angle glaucoma in my left eye. The ‘choice ‘ of having lens replacement surgery became a matter of an emergency. The skill and care literally saved my eyesight. Thank you.

I have experienced the most outstanding quality of service from the centre for sight. The kindness and efficiency of reception and administration staff, the technicians, nurses, anaesthetist & theatre staff have all been exemplary.
My experience could not have been better for my trifocal lens replacement. This straightforward and pain free surgery was quick and efficient. Mr Daya is both highly skilled and very kind. I felt confident and calm during the procedure which lasted no longer than half an hour. This is a life changing operation for me. I am absolutely thrilled with the resulting perfect vision. I’ve worn glasses since I was six, and I am now sixty-six. After a successful NHS procedure to repair a detached retina, I was informed that I would eventually develop a cataract in that eye. Once that happened, it was only a matter of time before I would need treatment.
After carrying out extensive research, I decided to consult with Mr Daya at Centre For Sight. The entire process has been seamless, and just two weeks after my initial consultation, I underwent lens replacement surgery on both eyes. The results have been life-changing — I no longer need glasses for anything; whether it’s reading, distance vision, working on a small-screen laptop, or driving.
On Mr Daya’s recommendation, I had trifocal lenses fitted, and my vision for all distances is now perfect. I cannot recommend Centre For Sight highly enough. A huge thank you to Mr Daya and his entire team — from the reception staff to the technicians who carry out screening checks, to the professionals in the operating theatre.
Word of mouth is invaluable, so I’m writing this to help support anyone who may be unsure about taking the next step. Accept this as a solid recommendation to follow my path - you will be delighted.

I just completed surgery to remove cataracts and trifocal lens replacement. I spent one week, from the first tests to the final consultation. The eye tests are comprehensive, taking over three hours. The final part is a consultation with Mr Daya who clearly explains the issues and the proposed solutions. It is daunting surgery, however, Mr Daya is a true and considerate expert in his field, so your concerns are quickly put to rest. As well as introducing you to videos to watch on what the surgery entails.
On the day of surgery, the clinical staff explain the exact steps that will follow. I found this very comforting. At times, I did feel.the preparation was taking time; however, the preparation is meticulous. The actual surgery is pain free and quick. I had one eye done at a time.
As I write this - five days after the first eye was done, I can see clearly! I'm hoping for further improvement as the coming weeks pass.
Overall, the team are extremely professional, all led under the leadership and expertise of Mr Daya. He only has one objective - to make your vision better. And that he has achieved.

WHAT A SHAMBLES THIS COMPANY IS IN. ORIGINALLY I HAD AN APPOINTMENT ON 3 FEBRUARY 2025 WHICH THEY CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED FOR 25 FEBRUARY 2025. I CHECKED ON 30 JANUARY 2025 AND WAS TOLD THAT THAT APPOINTMENT HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND I WAS TO ATTEND ON 3 FEBRUARY 2025. I WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME ON 3 FEBRUARY 2025. NEEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM STILL WAITING.
They ruined my eyes!! Nearly 10 years on after multifocal lens exchange and I have not been able to work as a camera person since.
They kept telling me it would go away. The severe high preventing need to be able to drive, the severe dry eye, the poor neuro adaptation to the lenses never got better.
Not once they ever informed me that there were something whereby the brain doesn’t work with the multifocal lenses they put in. This is not rare. I have learned a lot about how the brain works with these lenses. If you have any kind of processing issues such as ADHD, SPD, et cetera. Your eyes most likely will not adapt to these lenses. I’m now having to seek treatment in the United States for special reflective lenses that will help to correct these issues. This is going to cost me nearly as much as it cost to have the lenses put in. This company‘s absolutely disgusting Mr. Daya is unbelievably arrogant. I asked for him to refund me because of the extreme issues I had after the operation and he flat out refused. He’s got insurance. My life was ruined. Please do your research before you get lenses a single focal distance lens is not a problem. It’s the multifocal lenses that I was pushed into getting saying that they were all singing dancing and would correct everything but in fact they ruined my eyes. They know there’s a statute of limitations as to being able to take a claim against them so they just keep telling you it’s going to get better and you believe them. Shame on this company.
What made my experience great was that I was so nervous to have both eyes done at once however the experience was totally painless and professional and quick I had panicked for no reason.
