I have just completed the Diploma programme offered by UK-Celebrant and Public Speaking Academy, and whilst this was a challenging experience and course, it was also probably one of the best courses I have undertaken. The support from the initial enquiry, to throughout the course, with structured and constructive feedback, was second to none. The course tutors and assessors were available to suit, which was often at times outwith the normal working day hours.

I have been involved in public speaking scenarios for most of my life, but I still increased my skill levels, confidence and knowledge as a result of the great course structure and resources available throughout.

I am now looking forward to expanding my network within Fuze Ceremonies.

From start to finish, I was so well supported and encouraged to be the very best I could be. Before starting, I had zero celebrancy experience and was encouraged every step of the way.
My tutors Paul and Laura had a wonderful combination of the human touch (which gave me the confidence to express myself in my own, unique way,)
They also had the experience and insight to highlight areas that I needed to develop in order to become a good celebrant. For me this was basic grammatical errors and typos.; important though for a professional presentation.
Even after my training, the support doesn't stop and you are made to feel like a welcome and valued member of the Fuze team.

After losing my brother in 2022, I experienced some difficulties and sought help. A few weeks after his passing, my wife and I were discussing my brother's funeral and I commented on how nice I thought the Celebrant was. My wife said, 'You could do that!'

After working through my issues and pondering for hours over what she said, I decided to 'look into it' but, no more.

After finding this course and making an initial call to them, I pondered a further couple of months as I weighed up the pro's and cons. Eventually, I took the plunge and I'm so glad I did. Still working in retail, I was able to manage things outside of work and, with the freedom to work at my own pace, within reason, it made it more manageable for me.

I found the whole thing quite liberating and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the course. The support, guidance and constructive feedback I received from all the tutors from Paul to Laura and George from Fuze with all his totally invaluable marketing input just kept me believing I was on the right course - literally!!

I can't recommend the course and the support team highly enough and if you're thinking of going into this line of work or just want to brush up on your current public speaking or creative writing skills, then take the plunge and get on this course.

I have recently completed my Celebrant & Public Speaking Diploma with UKAPSA. It was a challenging but hugely enjoyable course which has prepared me well for my new career as a Celebrant. Throughout, I was so well supported by my amazing tutor Debbie and the team at UKCAPSA. Alongside this I have also received fantastic mentorship from Paul and invaluable practical advice and assistance from Laura. There is a whole team there to help! I really enjoyed the flexibility that the online programme provided and there are regular check in and feedback opportunities via video chats with your tutor. If you are passionate about entering the Celebrant world, I would highly recommend this training to prepare and support you in doing that.

What can I say? This course was simply outstanding! Informative and engaging from beginning to end. It’s a course that gets you thinking, provides you with new and very relevant knowledge to become a celebrant while allowing you to enhance and build upon your own pre-existing skills. It’s self directed study but you have full access to tutors and a fantastic online platform to navigate through while learning, completing tasks and subsequent assessments. You also get regular feedback sessions. The tasks are all relevant to the course and future career as a celebrant. Quite honestly I don’t see how you could become a celebrant without it as it gives you peace of mind that you can say with conviction that you are ‘qualified’ in this area and know what you are talking about - there is a lot to celebrant life. Highly highly highly recommend this course and it was one of my best decisions to study this though them 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As a wedding coordinator I always knew I wanted to one day become a marriage officer as they get to do the best job on the day of the wedding! Finally in 2021 after being asked to conduct my friends wedding ceremony in 2022, and whilst we were in the second lockdown, I took the plunge and started my training. It was all online due to the covid-19 restrictions, however this offered flexibility and the opportunity for me to work around my work schedule.

The training was fun, interactive and really interesting. My mentor was really supportive and guided me every step of the way, answering many of my ridiculous questions as I can often over think things. As a wedding coordinator I had been present as loads of wedding ceremonies before, however there was so much that I hadn’t even considered that the training really prepares you for. I also had the benefit of knowing a few celebrants who had already qualified and had gone through the same training in years previous who were a huge support through my training and have now become my fellow colleagues.

After completing my training in in 2021 with UK Celebrant & Public Speaking Academy, I am delighted to now be a licensed marriage officer with The Fuze Foundation with 23 bookings in the diary for this year, with 2024 looking even busier! I would full time, so enjoy the flexibility and support that comes with my new role as a celebrant.

My advice to anyone considering doing the training would be to not hesitate and DO IT! It was the best decision I have ever made and has really changed my life and career path for the best!

I found the UKCAPSA course both enjoyable and challenging.

The course allows you to work at your own pace, and the expert tutors are on hand to help with any questions you may have along the way, as well as providing feedback on your course work and assessments.

Each module was easy to follow, and even though I had experience in certain aspects of the course like public speaking, I came away from it refreshed and full of new ideas.

If you're looking to become a Celebrant, or simply to brush up on skills like creative writing and public speaking, I can't recommend this course enough.

Absolutely first class course, which I would thoroughly recommend. The entire package is extremely well thought out and easy to follow, while also providing plenty of challenging coursework.

The training was comprehensive, well paced, and complementary to my previous professional experience.
Having a tutor that I could check in with whenever I needed, even for small questions was incredibly useful as well.
Being able to write in my own style and not just answering to a 'points system', I found refreshing and genuinely engaged me more.

The practical elements of the training and assessments were genuinely useful and I will be able to refer back to these as I continue to use this training in a commercial capacity.

Having enjoyed doing public speaking at numerous events in my previous career, becoming a celebrant was something that really appealed to me for quite some time.

I had seen numerous different options available , however, training with UK Celebrant & Public Speaking Academy appealed to me for numerous reasons. As I was working in a job which demanded a lot of my time, and also as a parent, my spare time was often limited. By training with UKCAPSA, this allowed me to access the learning material online and I could work through this from home or even in my spare time during work.

This gave me time to fully learn and digest the material so that I had the confidence in completing and passing the course. Each and every step of the way there was a qualified assessor to guide and support with any queries that I had.

As this is a recognised qualification, this also gave me the assurance that the course would deliver the detail and support that I was looking for in becoming a celebrant…..

This course was life changing for me and a defining moment in my life, and since qualifying as a celebrant I have never looked back since!

I completed this training course last year and was delighted to discover how enjoyable an online course could be. I initially thought I would struggle as I am a bit of a technophobe! However, due to the clear and direct instructions it was actually quite addictive as I progressed through the 6 modules. Questions were well constructed and in fact led me to consider the necessity to provide the same quality in my responses. There was so much support and guidance it made the experience an enjoyable process. I learned a lot and looked forward to my online meetings with external verifier. Again with this support and guidance I looked forward to progressing to next stage and ultimate conclusion. I would recommend this course to anyone considering training.

This is an excellent course, which although challenging was extremely easy to follow, had interesting and stimulating content and was well presented. Would highly recommend

I completed the UK Celebrant and Public Speaking course through Fuze and found it challenging but really interesting and rewarding. The support from the Fuze team was fabulous throughout, always there with encouragement and motivation as well as information and guidance.

I am an experienced Celebrant but I decided to complete the UKCAPSA training course. It was an excellent course, insightful and descriptive and full of great examples for different ceremonies. The resources available really enable you to progress throughout the course in a very slick manner. It is very visual and there are lots of sample videos to watch and educate yourself on.
It is an online course but support and help are available with a tutor and an assessor online to mark each Unit and give insightful hints, tips and advice. If you want to become a Celebrant then this is the course for you or, if like me, you wanted to learn some new creative ways to work and write creative ceremonies- then signup today.

I found the UKCAPSA Diploma an excellent training package. It is modular, on-line and provides you with the flexibility to study, learn and experience what it takes to become a Celebrant. I thoroughly enjoyed taking the course - it was well structured, interesting and informative. I would recommend the course to anyone interested in being a Celebrant.
