Having lost hope of my daughter ever being assessed by CAMHS we turned to CAYP and finding Dr Shri Cameron has been the best decision we made. After an Autism diagnosis, she clearly explained the content of the report with us. After years of feeling very alone and unsupported, we now have a diagnosis and a strategy for how we can move forward, ensuring my daughter has the tools and support she needs to achieve her best potential. I would highly recommend Dr Shri Cameron.

Jade Wilson- my sons assessor for ADHD was amazing. She was kind and reassuring throughout the whole process as it was very overwhelming for us all due to my son having mental health issues along side too. She made everything clear and straightforward for us to ensure we understood everything we needed to do to and was empathetic and supportive with fins mental health issues, offering us recommendations to other resources that could help him. When she assessed Finley face to face she was kind and nurturing which made Finley and I feel at ease. Very happy we chose CAYP and I will definitely be recommending to others. Thankyou

I cannot recommend CAYP enough! From start to finish the whole process was incredibly supportive. After a long struggle of trying to obtain the correct support for our child, Dr. Daniel Weisberg did a phenomenal job in working with our family, his assessment gave us a clear understanding our child's strengths and weakness's, and was able to see through the mask our child wears everyday throughout his educational journey!
His report was outstanding with clear recommendations that most definitely contributed to a positive outcome for not just our child's EHCP, but for us a family in our home. We will not hesitate to use CAYP in the future if we were to need the service again. We will be forever grateful for Dr. Daniel sharing his clinical expertise with us.

CAYP and Jade Wilson, my daughters ‘lovely lady,’ as she calls her has been absolutely fantastic, Jade has given us a huge amount of support and confidence throughout what has really been just a couple of months.
After waiting for an NHS diagnosis for a long time we were recommended Jade by our headteacher. I contacted them through the online chat bot and was contacted the next day. Within a few days we’d had our initial phone appointment and had all of the paperwork to fill out, whenever I needed help Jade was always just an email away. When my daughter met Jade in person she was kind and understanding and made her feel comfortable, happy and engaged. I equally felt totally at ease and felt I could tell Jade anything without being judged.
Jade kept in contact frequently and never left me feeling like I was waiting with no hope like I was with the NHS assessors.

I was extremely happy with the outcome of the assessment and I felt it confirmed everything that us as parents and the teachers thought, I felt validated and listened to and a real part of the assessment process. The recommendations we have been given have been really helpful and you really know that Jade knows your child well and is interested in their well being and works hard to find things to fit there needs as well as there personality.
We couldn’t be more grateful to Jade and Will be recommending them to anyone who will listen!

We would highly recommend this service. After months of struggling with my son's mental health and lack of understanding as to why he was feeling the way he was, often struggling to fit in with society and left feeling frustrated, overwhelmed and exhausted on a daily basis within the school and social environment, we visited Jennie and the team at CAYP. Despite visiting the GP and being told we would be put on a lengthy waiting list to see CAMHS (which we are still in) we were lost as to what to do at that time and worried for the health of our son. CAYP were recommended to me by colleagues. From the initial consultation with Jennie Jardine I knew we were in good hands to be able to help my son to feel better. She understood, listened and unpicked the daily problems he was facing and trying to cope with. As a parent I hadn't considered that he might be struggling with aspects related to neurodiversity which were causing him to feel the way he was. After a diagnosis of autism my son can now understand the daily challenges of life and why he finds some aspects more challenging than others. He understands how these aspects of neurodiversity differ to the way other people navigate society, and how this had lead to why he had felt the way he had for years. Following the diagnosis Jennie worked with my son to develop coping strategies (with a plan for strategies in the school) which were aimed to support the difficulties he faces due his sensory processing problems and social aspects. Jennie was very sensitive in her diagnosis and incredibly knowledgeable to be able to discuss this with our son in a way that made sense to him. Needless to say we have our lovely, calm and happy son back and we are so very grateful for this. Thank you Jennie and the CAYP team.

We have just received confirmation of an EHCP having fought for this for nearly 8 years. This is due mostly for the report that Dr Daniel Weisberg produced for us: after 8 years we were getting a clearer picture of our child/young person - how their mind worked, the internalized difficulties they had been facing for years but never really been able to express as they had been masking for so long. I really hope other parents don't have to go through what we did and can't recommend Dr Weisberg enough. Many thanks we owe you a lot

Karen was wonderful throughout the adhd assessment process. She really listened to us, and was able to explain our son's behaviour to us as he also has autism diagnosis of autism. She took her time when speaking with us, whilst also being highly efficient and very speedy in her turning around a report and making herself available to us outside of typical working hours. Karen gave a ton of advice and guidance to help some of our son's behaviours which was highly appreciated and much valued. We would highly recommend Karen as a practitioner and CAYP Psychology as an organisation.

We found CAYP on the National Autism Society as we had decided that we needed our son to be diagnosed and could not wait for the NHS to complete the assessment. From initial contact with Dr Heidi the process was seamless and straight forward. Everything was explained to me and I fully understood the process. The assessment was very relaxed and centred on ensuring that our son was not stressed by the process. Dr Heidi and Dr Jenni were very professional during the whole process and the report they produced was very comprehensive. I am so pleased that we decided to use CAYP and now feel we are more equipped to get our son the support he requires. I would highly recommend Dr Heidi and Dr Jenni and would not hesitate in using them again.

CAYP psychology is an excellent service, they respond promptly to all enquiries, we then met Karen. Karen has been great throughout the process, arranging all appointments at our convenience. She is very professional, helpful, supportive, informative and was able to put us all at ease.

We reluctantly sought assessment for our 7 year old girl, following several years of our head being in the sand! Myself and my husband were listened to, made to feel comfortable and informed of the process throughout. Dr Desira is a fantastic clinician and all round good human being. She was gentle, humorous, and genuine throughout. My daughter enjoyed her time with her and felt safe speaking with her about her difficulties. Overall, CAYP as a service were professional, clear in their communication and compassionate in their approach. If you want a thorough service who prioritise high standards and evidence based approaches - then CAYP is for you.

My son (15yo), was seen by Dr Kat Harper, who saw us in our local area (Warrington). Kat was brilliant from the start. We had conversations over the phone before Ethan first apt, and then she got straight to it with Ethan. Ethan NEVER wants to go to apts, but he never once moaned going to see Kat, even telling me once 'hurry up it's rude to be late' (he's late for everything). We have finished Ethan treatment, and we will both miss meeting her. Thanks Dr Kat for everything.

We cannot thank Jenni Jardain enough, for her professional and compasionate approach. We were given the reassurances we needed and it was clear the next stage of the assessment was being suggested because it was warrented to support our son and based on the evidence. The whole process was quick and seemless and within 3 weeks we had completed a parental interview online, our child had been assessed face to face, feedback was given and we had a very detailed 20 page report evidencing the diagnosis and recommendations to support them at home and school. This is going to be vital moving forward to better ensure our son is understood and meets his potential. The assessment and report was so thorough and as a result the diagnosis was accepted by CAMHs immediately. This means they are able to go onto the medication wait list - no barriers or hurdles like I have heard some families face from having private assessments.
Overall this has been a very positive experience from a fantasic service, which I would highly recommend. Thank you Jenni and the team for your hard work and dedication 😊

We highly recommend CAYP for a seamless experience. Our clinician Jade was absolutely wonderful. She put our child immediately at ease and took the time to get to know our child which made the assessment stress free. Jade was very knowledgeable and experienced and our final report was extremely comprehensive and well written. Thank you CAYP.

We have been working with Shri now for two years approx, she has been absolutely great. Her approach is very warm, welcoming & it’s very clear that her main goal is to support the child. She has been a great support for our son& us too. She has attended meetings with us, given us advise, given us homework and things to trial and recommended different people and agencies to be involved and help our son. Our son started with Shri hyper, unable to sit for five mins and couldn’t tell you his feelings. He is now able to express himself freely and comfortably and can label his emotions. We often get comments from others about how expressive he is for his age and that’s down to Shri and the work we have done at home which was homework from Shri. It’s really helped our family be less chaotic and really helped us to live a very calm, serene life which in turn gives our son so much stability! It’s Been the best thing we ever done. An investment yes, but so very worth it.

Can’t thank CAYP enough for their service. Especially Karen and the time she took with not just our daughter, but us as a family during the assessment process. We felt totally at ease and come away understanding more about our daughters need moving forward.
Nothing was rushed, it all felt like meaningful discussions rather than a tickbox exercise to completely understand our daughter as an individual. Nothing was too much to ask. Would highly recommend.
