We are a Tonbridge Based Taxi, Private Hire and Chauffeur business that has been trading since January 1995. We offer 4 to 8 passenger vehicles every day of the year, usually 24 hours a day. This is dependant on staff holidays etc for the period from midnight to 4am but if pre-booked can usually be accommodated. We will go anywhere, local or long distance and average over 200 airport transfers per week. We also offer an executive / wedding service in a suitable vehicle. Please call for details. All vehicles take cash or card payment, and we can also offer business accounts on request. Castle Cars has an excellent reputation for standards and reliability and has won many awards both locally and nationally including top 3 for 10 consecutive years winning in 2021 and again in 2025 of the Small Private Hire Company of the Year, given by Professional Driver Magazine. We are also a Times Small Business of the Year Winner, as well as several others. Our Google Reviews averaging 4.8 / 5 from over 1000 different passengers back up how well we are regarded by past customers.

We are very disappointed in being left a 1 star review after 2 years of you using us 18 times, without complaint, or a positive review.
You booked a car from your address for 0830 today and the driver unfortunately arrived 10 minutes late due solely to traffic beyond his control as it was peak school time.
To reach your house he had to drive past 3 large schools and a busy college, as well as a new 125 home estate on the very same road on which you live. He then had to drive back past those schools, college and new housing estate to get you back to the station and in each direction the 2.2 mile journey took him 20 minutes.
None of your previous bookings were at this time of day and I presume this explains why you did not allow sufficient time for such a journey?
Perhaps next time allow more time if it is a 'time critical' journey?
As for the card machine not working this is due to an apparent recent intermittent signal issue around the station and again beyond our control.
You did tip the driver £2 for which he was grateful. but to leave a poor review for the company was very unfair. I hope that when you look at this in the cold light of day you will realise this and remove it.

Totally reliable. Booking in advance was easy. Very helpful text messages to tell us that the taxi was on its way, and then that it had arrived. Smooth driving, courteous driver. 100% satisfied.

This is going to sound boringly repetitive but again: On time; Very friendly and helpful driver; very safely driven; nice sms alerting service; all of which makes next time's trip to the airport a no brainer when it comes to choice. Thx guys

This is a very reliable taxi company . When you are in the taxis you feel safe which is important nowadays..the drivers are always on time.sometimes they are even early..
They will chat to you if you want to talk.. the Office staff are so polite and very helpful .a truly good company ,I won’t use anyone else . Julie W

Great service and comms
My son had to be collected from school one evening. Castle Cars made sure I knew when the car was en route, the car and driver details. The driver was on time and called after 2 minutes when he could not see my son. All resolved and no issues but very efficient and considerate.

Excellent for Airport Runs
I booked Castle Cars for a journey from Heathrow to Southborough and the service was exceptional. The booking process was simple and straightforward, with clear communication throughout. The driver was courteous and professional, drove safely, and the car was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for us and our luggage. I have used them many times - they have never let me down, and I am very happy to recommend them.
