I have been using cartec for over two years now.

Very disappointed so returned.
I purchased two mystery boxes but would not of paid £50 for the items I received.
Then to add to my disappointment I had to pay for return.

I bought one of their mystery boxes as I've always heard their polishes, pads etc are very good. The mystery box is £50 with a promise of good products and a total of £100 plus inside. It wasn't. Of the very poor products I received (I have pictures to back this up) were, hand gel sanitizer (small bottle), polar bear de-icer, a litre of floor cleaner, a tester bottle of air freshener, some re usable towels, black spray paint, more air freshener, glass aerosol and some of their liquid wax. To be honest I thought it was a wind up, they are known for their polishes, pads etc and I receive this junk.

I rang to basically complain which I never do. Was net with a half cared apology and a 'will send you a returns email'. I asked if I would have to pay for this privilege, which I would (£9.65 with Royal Mail.). I did explain my reason and also that the box was packaged by I can only assume someone blindfolded? Zero effort. I have returned the items this morning and emailed the lady I spoke to initially, she hasn't even given me the courtesy of a reply. So I await my refund and have asked it to be the full amount including the postage, I will update my review next week.

It will be the first and last time I ever use this company.

I suggest others look elsewhere.

**Update. Have just been refunded the £50 for the Mystery box. No refund for the postage I paid**.

Still no postage refund.

Advisor was a lovely lady confirmed my on line enquiry, made sure the item was dispatched same day - item turned up and was really good quality as advised

Wasnt impressed with the last mystery box seems like its stuff you struggle to sell.

Was well impressed with the performance of the rupes polisher always wanted one didn’t disappoint

Great customer service and very friendly. While the wrong product was sent out from the warehouse, it took me a good 7 months to notice this error and once I had noticed, I reached out to the team to check if there was any recourse. Without hesitation, they arranged for delivery of the original product ordered, which was the going above and beyond in my eyes. Thank you to James and the team.

Fantastic service and product ranged always backed up with amazing aftercare aswell. Essential to my business and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Lovely paste I used to take off the scratches I hade on my bonnet and door handle.

Just used the wax with ptfe and impressed with the results. Will update after I use the polish and wax together.

The item I bought differed from the one in the picture. I decided against asking for a refund due to the time and effort. But I sent an email advising them to change the photo and explaining why I was unhappy. They did not respond.

poor service
I accept I had the items delivered to my daughters who was off work and available but unfortunately was called back to work early so was"t in however I had a number of panels delivered around the same time by other courier's that were left either in a safe place or with a neighbour.
Rang Carter explained the situation and was told I would get a reply Monday , when I finally was contacted on Tuesday again I replied asking to be left or redirected but did not even get a reply or acknowledgement and no delivery .
since writing the review Carter rang me to appologise for delivery (yodel. says it all)and tried to rectify the problem but I had already purchased from else where.
Most of the bad reviews seem to be related to yodel delivery maybe they need to address this.
Will update to 3 star
