Easy and straight forward transaction all contact with staff was very efficient and courteous. The vehicle pick up was very straight forward, the guy who did the pick up was excellent, very friendly and supportive and sensitive, excellent administration and payment was completed within 90 minutes. It was easy to use them & they were very good on the day of collection the person who came did his job really good took his time loading the car covered number plates took photos as he was obviously trained to do . If there is a complaint the price quoted originally was reduced by half in the end so basically not a very good price as there were 4 good tyres which were worth more than they paid for the car .

Easy process to sort out originally. I was given an immediate quote, of which was followed up by a telephone call and then given a collection date. I was also told that I'd get a call one hour before collection. I later received a text message saying my collection would be between 12pm and 4pm, great. At 4.10 pm on the day of collection, I contacted the collection branch to ask if my car is being collected today. I told the man on the phone that I had a text message giving me collection times and that I would be given an hours notice prior to collection....I was basically called a liar and was told that they do not give collection times like I have received....funny that, given that I had a text message stating the time, AND an email! I asked if my car was being collected today, given that the branch shuts at 5 pm and it was now a few minutes past 4 pm. He said yes and claimed I was being aggressive to him, basically saying if I wanted to cancel, then I should do so. Shortly after I received a phone call to say someone was on their way. A flatbed truck arrived just after 5.15 pm, and in my opinion, only arrived because I made the phone call. The collection and loading of the car was quick and easy and the driver was courteous throughout.....just a shame the person on the phone wasn't, and a shame that I had to go chasing the collection. Due to the time of collection, payment wasn't made that day, but the driver assured me that it would be processed the next day, and it was. Reference: CC-0126-048220

Start to finish was quick and painless. Turned up when they said they would and paid me what they said they would. Couldn't really ask for more.

The process is managed as 2 seperate elements: firstly you provide details which then gives you a price for your car; in my case £275... which you can attempt to increase by answering some additional questions ... i did this and the online offer went up to £325. Then you arrange collection.

It appears that a new member of staff was not fully understanding of their end of the process and despite me sending photos, plus explaining the condition of the car (which was 'just failed MOT, minor bodywork damage, no major damage and still driveable) when the collection happened; the driver told me he was unable to pay the £325 as arranged and offered me a scrap value of £125.

I accepted this figure and then chose to reflect my experience in a review.

The collection company called afrer seeing the review and offered me an additional £50.
Since this closer reflects the original online offer price as such I have upgraded my review.

Finally, time to scrap my 07 Fiesta. Wasn't expecting much for it and was fine with the £150 quote. Service is pretty straightforward; they give you a quote and then find a local salvage company to deal with it. In this case, it was Davies Salvage in Nottingham. They called me to confirm and organise a date for collection, which I thought was a bit slow at 3-4 weeks later. However, no issues on the day with the car collected and the money in my account 3 hours later. Good communication with the V5 forms and certificate of destruction, with instructions for me to notify the DVLA.

Very easy process, arranged and collected efficiently. Kept up to date all the way. Would highly recommend
