poor product , do not buy blank keys from here, not performing as original

Ich hatte eine CDI für meine Kawasaki VN 15 für 450.-
bestellt. Da es auf dem Markt keine originalen Neuteile mehr gibt. Nur Gebrauchte für 300-400.-€, ohne Gewähr.
Die CDI kam nach ca. 10 Tagen per UPS an.
Meine Wekstatt baute diese ein. Funktion wie erwünscht, sogar noch um einiges besser. Der Zündfunke war noch nie so stark. Die alte KAWA hängt besser am Gas, wie je zuvor. Gefühlt 5 PS mehr. Ich bin restlos begeistert und kann die Firma nur weiter empfehlen.
3Jahre Garantie sind außerdem bemerkenswert.

Heb 3 jaar geleden een nieuwe, door Carmo gewikkelde dynamo gekocht, welke al na 16.000 km defect is en sluiting op aarde heeft.
Hierdoor kwam ik in de Eifel stil te staan met alle kosten van dien.
Op dit produkt word 3 jaar garantie gegeven, echter de eerste gewikkelde dynamo had ik al een jaar eerder gekocht, namelijk in september 2020 en deze was na 1 jaar al reeds defect en toen netjes in september 2021 een nieuwe ontvangen welke dus binnen de 3 jaar ook defect is.
Dikke discussie bij Carmo zelf gevoerd om deze laatste dynamo ook onder garantie te krijgen, maar dit was niet mogelijk !!!
Conclusie: Niet netjes behandeld en deze zelf gewikkelde dynamos brengt niks geen verbetering want ze blijven stuk gaan na een beperkt aantal kilometers !!!

ECU flasch XT1200z supertenere.
Met mijn motor bij hun geweest.
Ik had last van dat de motor in bochten en rotondes stotend door de bochten ging. Ook bij het gasgeven en los laten was hij nog al hokkerig .
Ik heb nu een compleet andere motor .Alles loopt heel soepel, zelfs het schakelen.
Heb er ook nog 20NM koppel bijgekregen en 10 pk meer op het achterwiel.
Is het geld meer dan waard.

Do not trust this company. Sent a Harley Davidson ECU to them back in Sept/Oct was told no faults found. Have spent over £500 having the bike looked at and changing lots of stuff. Everything was pointing at the ECU so bought a new ECU and the bike is now working as it is. They are keep closing the case and won't even particularly refund me. Reply back without why they have closed the case just reply to say he is only a mechanic.

I understand in it all works, thanks. On your website you state that the way your system works it will tell you of faults. If that's not the case you should advertise that then.

Ik heb mijn Ktm 1290 uit 2021 door Carmo Electronics op de dynobank af laten stellen.Vooraf vraagt Roel hoe je de motor wilt hebben en wat voor rijder je bent.Ik wou dat de Ktm agressiever op het gas reageerde,altijd het idee gehad dat de motor beter kon.Dat kan ie nu!
Motor is veel beter bij de les,is niet alleen sneller maar nu ook 100% afgesteld.Wel heb ik een volledig Arrow systeem erop en heeft Carmo nog een DNA luchtfilter aangeraden.
Het was me de dag en geld meer dan waard!

Schlechter Kundenservice, keine Antworten auf Mail, behält Geld sodass man den PayPal Käuferschutz aktivieren muss.

Edit: Nun zu behaupten, man wisse von nichts, und wunddere sich, mach die Sache eigeentlich nur noch schlimmer. Meine Mail bleiben unbeantwortet, Geld das erhalten wurde, wurde nicht zurückerstattet. Wo hat der, der meine Bewwertung beantwortet hat nachgelesen?

Da sie scheinbar nur hier kommunizieren möchten, bzw. mir nun nicht mehr antworten möchten, werde ich nun für die restliche Forderung einen Anwalt einschalten.
Ich finde es schade, dass es soweeit kommen muss.

j'ai un envoyé un calculateur magnetti marelli pour une moto mv agusta à réparer, celui ci est revenu dans le même état de dysfonctionnement ; je l'ai renvoyé bien sûr et là ils m'ont demandé de renvoyer l'eprom !!! comme si j'allais démonter un composant électronique moi même...Finalement cette société se confond d'excuses et dit qu'ils avaient sans doute oublié de remonter l'eprom..cela expliquerai le dysfonctionnement...et que je n'avais aucune inquiétude à me faire..que le travail était garantie...au bout de 8 jours, je les relance et là surprise ils me demande de payer une nouvelle fois prétextant que c'est la moto qui est en panne et non le calculateur ...Si c'est la moto qui est en panne il n'y avait pas lieu de me prendre 406 €, vous croyez pas ? face à mon mécontentement et face au faite que je fait une réclamation Paypal il m'ont fait comprendre qu'ils garderaient le calculateur...Voilà , j'ai 63 ans, je suis une ancien pro dans la moto et je peut vous dire que outre leurs incompétences manifeste , c'est aussi des voleurs..je peux joindre tous les messages échangés avec eux à qui les veut...Adriano Pozza

ik ben er naartoe gegaan voor een ecu flash. eerst even langsgegaan en een zeer goede uitleg gekregen waar er echt tijd voor me werd gemaakt. Met een zeer goed gevoel een afspraak ingepland. alles verlopen zoals afgesproken en de motor (kawasaki versys 1000) loopt als een speer nu. zelf na een klein probleem waar carmo niets aan kon doen, hebben ze me gewoon terug geholpen met run op de testbank om zeker te zijn van hun werk. echte toppers

a few years ago i bought a triumph legend tt motorcycle long story short the ignition management module packed up triumph could not supply a new one at the time it was around 560 ponds carmo diagnosed the fault repaired it in about 10 days my bike was back on the road 125 quid including postage ,i rode the triumph to the nearest Suzuki dealer and part exchanged it .having learned my lesson i now own a triumph T120

I have to say I’ve been disappointed with my experience with your company. First of all, the unit arrived with no instructions whatever and was described as “plug and play” on your website. It was far from this. When connected via the small harness you supplied I had no spark. This turned out to be because pins 1 and 4 were swapped in the link harness. I did try connecting without the harness and this immediately blew a fuse on the bike when I operated the starter – I now realise bacause the XBR CDI has a +12 feed on pin 5 which you have broken in the link harness. When I cut this wire and instead fed a direct earth to the CDI, connecting without the link harness, I had success.

I understand that this positive feed may have a function in retarding the ignition when the starter is operated, however cannot find any documentation to this effect. I would have hoped that you would incorporate this feature, or at least point out to the user that it existed.

I have in no way been helped by you other than your providing a link to an information sheet which you should have given me at the outset. You should also have provided details of the advance curve and other characteristics. I have spent hours in my garage checking other components (entirely unnecessarily) but have been greatly helped by members of an online forum who have made many helpful suggestions. I should not have needed to do any of this. The only positive aspect is that I have now learned a great deal about CDI systems.

It has become plain to me that the unit which you sell as specific to the XBR500 is instead a generic unit. This raises questions in my mind as to what the advance curve is and whether this has been tailored to the motorcycle or – as I suspect – you have merely used a standard curve which may or may not suit the engine characteristics. I cannot believe that you have actually supplied one of these units to an XBR500 owner and that they have fitted it without problems.

It may interest you to know that in desperaion I bought a generic “pit bike” CDI unit complete with coil from ebay at a cost of less than £12. This was delivered to me today and I find that it replaces your unit directly and seems to give similar performance. It’s interesting that the pinouts on this unit are identical to those on your unit WITHOUT the link harness ie with B/W to pin 1 and red/black to pin 6. I accept that its internal components may be inferior but am left with the feeling that I could have saved myself £100 or so by purchasing this in the first place.

De mensen in dit bedrijf weten wat ze aan het doen zijn. Fijne mensen om met te communcieren en zeer klantvriendelijk.

Er was in mijn geval een kalibratiefout gemaakt in mijn ECU maar hebben ze netjes opgelost.

Ik ben een tevreden klant.

Mijn KTM 990 adventure loopt nu zoals het hoort.

Excellent service! Lost keys for my Honda ST1300 and was told by dealers I would have to change ECU and lock sets e.t.c
Found these guys and it’s sorted. Took 10 days from posting my ECU. Would 100% recommend.

Na veel telefonisch contact toch besloten mijn ECU naar Carmo op te sturen voor een ECU flash .
Had ik ik dit maar veel eerder gedaan , geen dip meer in laag toerental en gas response zoals het hoort.

Goede vakkundige en vriendelijke hulp geboden bij een KTRC storing bij een Z900 van een klant van me.
Om 12.30 even innde kantine gezellig meegegeten.
Uitgelezen, rollenbank test, live abs test buiten, nogmaals uitgelezen.
Voorwielsensor fout geconstateerd.

Voor mijn Yamaha XV 750 Virago had ik, na een defecte spanningsregelaar, een nieuwe CDI-unit nodig.
Na wat zoekwerk op internet kwam ik bij dit bedrijf uit.
De CDI werkt perfect en de service en communicatie zijn een schoolvoorbeeld waar menig bedrijf een voorbeeld aan zou kunnen nemen.

Samengevat: aanrader, goede service, zeer kundige mensen, bijzonder prettige communicatie en "Last but not least" prima werkende producten.

I purchased a mosfet voltage regulator for ktm 990 Adventure, just for upgrade my motorbike.

The voltage regulator arrived with a different code that I purchased (ordered CARR9714-KTM received CARR694-KTM)

After less than 500km the voltage regulator started giving same problems randomly (low voltage to mantein motorkibe system and battery charge).
Shipped to Carmo for replace or repair.

After paying more than 200 euros I solved by installed again the original one (ktm with 78000 km).

My experience with Carmo was very bad, waste time and money.

Looked everywhere for ECU repair ,test. Company.
After reading about all the other companies that do this work.
No company can make everyone happy.
I chose Carmo.
They run there business a little different. But I sent them my unit. It tested positive and in good order.
They even sent a video of my test.
Kevin, and his crew are the real deal.
And I recommend.
Will go back to them anytime I need this kind of help.

I ordered a T.C.I. for my xv1000 it didn't even work. i was upset but had a spare so forgot about it for awhile. i had some electronics experience then i decided to take it apart to see if there's something that needed soldering it was incased in a gel, i carefully removed the gel to inspect the circuit board. what i say looked like it was faked to look like a circuit board it made no sence and would never work the way its wired
