Smoothly and effortessly will use carlingo again

A lovely car salesman called Stuart sold me my car! He was absolutely lovely! I loved how the staff weren’t pushy and left you to your own devices to make a decision. I would recommend carlingo in Harrogate tree to anyone! :)
Super super happy with my car!

We purchased a Mini Cooper S & the staff were all very helpful and very knowledgeable (especially Stuart) they made us feel welcome and there were no problems, the only slightly disappointing aspect was on collecting the car on the hottest day of the year and after a full check handover to us the
air con was not working but was subsequently re-gassed the following week.

Well looked after by various members of staff, amy was on the ball and informed us of everything that was going an and was about to happen next very happy with the service that we had.

I recently purchased a car from Carlingo and had a genuinely excellent experience from start to finish. All of the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.

Stuart showed me around the car initially and was fantastic to deal with — friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and very accommodating. He gave me plenty of time and space to explore the car on my own, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and guided me through a test drive without any pressure at all. What really stood out was that he stayed an hour late on a Sunday after closing time to make sure everything was in place for me to go ahead with the purchase, which I really appreciated.

A week later, I returned to collect the car and was looked after by Joey, who was equally friendly and helpful. He supported me through the final paperwork and made the handover process smooth and straightforward.

I’m extremely happy with the car itself — it was presented in excellent condition and is a lovely car to drive. Carlingo also kindly accommodated my request to touch up some stone chips on the bonnet before collection, and the colour matching was done perfectly.

Overall, a really positive experience with excellent customer service throughout. I would definitely recommend Carlingo!

My wife wanted to change her car and we arranged to view and test an electric Fiat 500e. Adam Milner dealt with us in a friendly and professional manner and unlike many car sales people dealt with my wife rather than myself. Historically my wife has almost been ignored when buying a car, not so with Adam. On the day we collected the car it was immaculately presented and once again we were treated very well with the whole process being very smooth. If you are looking for a used car go to Carlingo, they have a wide range of vehicles at most price points.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Jimmy was great at explaining my options, offering a good price for my part ex and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Joey who did the handover was equally as good, taking time to run through the finance agreement and ensuring I was completely happy. Car was well priced, and exactly as described. Will definitely be back for my next car!

I never have a problem with customer services I give them 100% very very friendly and the service department as well I have had a few problems with my cars but again 100% specially the manager very helpful and they solve the problem

Just collected my partners car from Carlingo after test driving last weekend. A very warm welcome awaited us on both occasions, particularly so today when we brought our little dog. Adam who arranged the test drive and purchase and Joey who handled the hand over today were as friendly as they were professional. They both made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble and made the process both relaxed and hassle free. Very impressive customer service. Well done 👏

A very strange experience. Unsure if they are totally dishonest or just incompetent. My 88yr old mother purchased a car from them. We took her car to the showroom (1hr drive) so it could be valued as a p-ex. A salesman took 45 minutes to inspect the car, inside and out. He and I discussed a couple of faults, a price was agreed, they gave us an invoice and my mother paid the deposit. We returned home. I had several phone conversations with them and agreed a collection date. We drove back to collect the car (1hr) and were greeted by a different sales person, who told us my mum's car would need inspecting (the salesman we previously spoke to was busy chatting to other staff). I explained this had already been done. She checked her computer and confirmed the deal that had been agreed (£7700 p-ex for my mum's car). She then disappeared to speak to "management". When she returned she informed my mum they would only give her £6600. She was shocked, as the deal had been agreed and documented (and her car was valued at between £10-£13,000 on Carwow). She was basically told to "take it or leave it". I called over the salesman that we had previously dealt with and he said he'd never seen my mum's car. When I reminded him about the long conversation we had had a few days earlier, he looked embarrassed but still insisted he hadn't seen the car (he absolutely, definitely, 100% had). My mum refused to take the reduced offer and we had to drive home again (1hr). She was pretty upset, which is not helpful at 88 yrs old. It was all pretty strange. We were left wondering if the salesman had Alzheimers (unlikely since he's around 35) or if they just assume old people like my mum can be bullied into accepting a lower price for their car than was agreed. I took time off work to deal with this and we spent over 4 hours driving there/back. My mum is waiting for her deposit to be returned.

Excellent customer service from friendly and professional staff. We purchased a used car in February 2026, Danny in sales dealt with everything perfectly.
Travis in the after sales department has handled two warranty claims for us with amazing speed and efficiency.
Carlingo appear to set high standards for customer care and we highly recommend them.

When we came to see the car, we were served very nicely and everything met our expectations. A week later, when we came to pick up the car, all the paperwork was prepared and the process went smoothly. However, the car was not prepared as we expected — it was dirty and looked like someone had smeared the bodywork.
