Great car and customer service
Saw the car online and luckily Carlingo is only 1 hour away so I went to have a look. Josh took me for a test drive in it, he was great - no pressure. The car was for my daughter who couldn’t go look at it for 2 days so I reserved it with a deposit. She loved it and staff were so patient with us while we were making the payment and sorting the paperwork out. Would definitely go back as the service was excellent.

Great experience with Carlingo Harrogate.
My first experience buying a car from Carlingo in Harrogate.
Visited them twice.
It was a great experience, someone came to us to just say let us know if we can help with anything..then just left us to it. It was refreshing.
We asked for a couple of cars to be opened to look inside, again that was no problem, then just left us to it.
Very professional, but not pushy at all.
Would definitely recommend.

Sold me a dud, horrendous customer service!
Sold me a 15k car, car salesman was extremely cocky. When asked how negotiable was the price he said not as our checks are more comprehensive than anywhere else so our cars are the best! had to have it back multiple times in the first few weeks for various different issues. 5 months down the line it now needs £1k worth of work doing, which can only be done at Ford as it’s a coding issue! Whilst in waiting to be fixed they also pointed out the oil needed changing as was too high, rear right tyre 3.5mm left 4mm and front 5mm. Front brakes 40% worn and rear 70% worn! Despite the garage saying that needs doing, carlingo says it’s above their limit to which they change them and way off legal limit! No offer of a courtesy car, just met with excuses. I have now been carless for 4 weeks after only owning the car for 5 months! Avoid this garage and travis at all costs!
Customer service awful, always arguing the toss whenever there’s an issue, and the cherry on the top, Ford have been communicating the progress with travis, however he thought that’s not my job so didn’t bother to pass that onto me!

We’re sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience. However, we do feel it is important to clarify some of the points raised.
The vehicle was prepared and inspected in line with our established preparation standards prior to sale, and the tyres and brakes were comfortably above the relevant legal limits at the time of our checks. Wear items such as tyres and brakes naturally deteriorate with use and mileage, and we cannot reasonably be expected to replace items that remain within our agreed preparation tolerances.
We also do not recognise the description of our staff’s manner. Our team are expected to remain professional and courteous at all times, even when dealing with challenging or disputed issues, and we are disappointed that this was not your perception.
We appreciate that being without your vehicle while a coding issue is investigated is frustrating, and we have continued to engage with the matter where appropriate. We are sorry that the experience has not met your expectations, but we believe it is important that the facts surrounding the vehicle’s preparation and condition are accurately represented.

Amazing staff & service.
Your staff are amazing, very friendly, professional & helpful. You've got a great team. We dealt mainly with Jimmy, he looked after us so well. I apologise that I don't know the name of the young lad who helped us when we collected the car but he was lovely too. The whole process was dealt with smoothly, we couldn't be happier. Im already recommending you! I know we travelled 90 miles to get to you, but we have no regrets as it was most definitely worth it.

Life is too short
I've had daily reasons to correspond with Carlingo since seeing a car I liked. I ignored the customer service red flags (not being honest, not doing what they said, not able to handle messages between staff, blaming me for their own sales communication issues, etc) as I wanted the car itself but since buying it there's been issues that still aren't resolved. Do not deal with this company.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with your experience. We do take your comments seriously, although we would like to clarify some of the points raised.
You requested parking sensors to be fitted to the vehicle, which we arranged in good faith and not done by ourselves. Unfortunately, it subsequently became apparent that the particular model was not compatible with the system fitted. The other issue raised was a TPMS warning light, which can appear at any time and was addressed once brought to our attention.
We understand that this was frustrating, we never want any of our customers to feel this way and we have ultimately agreed to buy the vehicle back from you. We’re sorry that the experience has affected your return to car ownership.

A wonderful buying experience
I was well looked after by sales assistant Amy and handover assistant Joey. The both made the whole process incredibly smooth and easy.
Amy took me on a test drive of the car and was helpful in guiding me through how to drive a EV. She also pointed out additional products, such as extended warranty and a service plan, but she offered these without overselling.
Joey handled the handover of cars in a professional and courteous manner.
Overall, this was a pleasant buying experience.

Autotrader add to ownership in several days
I saw a car on line so called by phone. Politely told, after he made an enquiry, that the vehicle was available.
I visited the showroom again met by attentive helpful staff, who brought the car to the showroom,as it was on the far side of the car lot, and I have mobility issues.
Shown around the car by another team member, who the completed the order and took a deposit. Explained other products such as warranties and treatments available at additional cost. Arranged a completion date for the following week. Everything done without any pressure in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
Collected the well prepared car again helpful polite and courteous staff.
