Caribbean Express is a scam. They take your money, not transfer it to the receiver, then make you wait 10 days to get your money back. Hoping that you'll forget about it and they will keep it. They can reject you sending money without any reason whatsoever and they don't have to, and will NOT tell you any reason why. Don't ever use this service.
This company gave me a quote £3500 to ship my goods to Trinidad in crates, I was advised due to the amount of goods that I did not require a container. That instead I just needed 2 large crates. The main man Ali was quite friendly & reassuring at first. When my goods were collected & packed, they ceased All communication and just sent me another invoice via WhatsApp for £4950 stating the items when packed were more than they expected. (He never came to assess my items before collection). This was almost the quote ( £5000) given to me by other companies to send a 20ft container
Caribbean Express Shipping told me that my goods would not be released from the Trinidad port, unless I made this huge additional payment to them. In order words they were blackmailing me to pay them this money to receive my goods. I was sent several messages from Mobeena (Ali's wife) threatening me to make this payment in order for me to receive my goods.
So I had no option than to pay this huge additional fee.
When I did received my goods, they were just wrapped in black cling film on pallets & cardboard boxes, No crates were seen.
Some items were broken & damaged. They had a great amount of fragile tape around them which left sticky marks when removed on my furniture.
I tried several times to contact Caribbean Express Shipping Ltd with NO response from them.
Once the requested money was paid to them they ceased ALL forms of contact.
They are a scammed company, with very poor communication, professional conduct and really terrible service.
Please DO Not use this company.
