They are most certainly one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. I received no resolution with customer service nor the manager that took over afterwards. I was paying $200 to $400 a month month a charge that was made in December of 2024. I was told if I didn't pay off this $1,300 by January of 2016 then I would incur penalties. Why are they trying to charge me a charge of $395, and also $85 within the same month of February saying I never paid it off. There is proof that I have paid it off. I don't even understand what is going on. How could they possibly say I haven't paid it off and charged me an additional $500. I have reported them to the better Business bureau and I hope that they go out of business soon because they are the worst company ever

I have used care credit for 8 years only using for vet bills.
I always use their convient pay by phone.
For some reason wasn't taking my payment but the I remembered I changed my phone number .
I called care credit costumer service to make payment and to change phone number.
They text me a code to my phone which i received and repeated to the man.
He then stated in order for me to change my number. They would send me a link and I would have to take a picture of myself holding in his words a state I.D.
I closed my account.

Giving Care Credit a 1 does not even suffess. They should be rated -10. I made a payment and they held my check, it is not credited to my account and I find additional charges to my account. They closed my account because my bank saw thru their scamming of customers. They are a scam.
I recently paid them off and they still are harrassing me with a payment due and an additional charge of $42.00.
Folks, whatever you do please read all the reviews on this company and after your done I hope you are not stupid enough to sign up with them. They will SCREW YOU OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!

This company utilizes representatives whose first language is not English. There is total lack of understanding of The American's with Disabilities Act. When they are informed a customer can't understand what they are saying the solution is to yell. When you ask for someone whose first language is English with no accent there is absolutely no willingness to offer assistance. This is highly discriminatory and totally without compassion. My rating would be zero stars, but there is no way to rate lower than 1 star. I had a stellar payment history! Find another way to borrow money!

Care Credit sends their bills out late. Then they charge you $30.00 for a late fee even when I called. We got the bill the day it was due. Nobody knows when you call. You also can't understand them. Nobody is a Native English speaker. Very frustrating. I am cancelling this service as soon as my bill is paid off. They don't care. I told them I would cancel. No response

Aspen dental pushed this as a decent option. Put it on a credit card ! At least you can switch to a zero apr credit card. Care credit won’t let you do a balance transfer. Shiesters are charging 32 percent DONt Use Care Credit!!!!!!!!!

Amount of $9,500 was deposited for a patient who disputed their purchase and Care Credit took $10,000 from my account when only $9,500 was deposited. I called Care Credit, spoke to the supervisor and she was extremely rude and helped with nothing. I was charged $500 for nothing. We are a providers office as well and know how it is when dealing with refunds and disputes, but this is the worst experience i've encountered and we are just not understanding of this situation. Care Credit had us fax paperwork back and forth, just so at the end of the day they could charge me an unnecessary amount of $500. I do not wish to use Care Credit ever again, and will not recommend to anyone.

I was literally sitting in the dentist chair, waiting to numb for a root canal. A worker came in and said I needed to pay before the procedure. I said I’d pay after, with my credit card. They charge 3% to get use a card. Said I could open this account, they’d fill everything out and I could pay CareCredit with my credit card. Wrong. It has to come from your checking. I received the bill and it was due 10 days after the procedure. I had 2 days to pay it off or incur an outrageous APR of almost 33%. Then I got an email that if I didn’t sign up for paperless billing, they will charge $1.99 a month to send one out. Run away!

Needs to be out of business there is no help that they offer that do the prequalify stuff and deny simply because they don't give a damn about your health just as this jacked up ass country doesn't. I've only known people of non-color to ever have used it. My credit is not F'd up at all they predetermine before even seeing income or any of that they need to just go out of business they don't help the people that need it they are useless and mind you I tried the 20 years ago and the same crap 0 stars

So I have had a care credit account for a while now. Making my payment on time and even paying extra. I tried to make my payment last month but I couldn't get into the app to pay. They made changes to the app. I called the customer help line and they told me they cut my access to the app for none payment. I told them that's a mistake. I said I owed $0 because I had been paying ahead. They told me that they wouldn't give me access to my app account until I made a payment. I did just so I could get my statements and prove it was a error. They still won't give access to my account. I checked with my bank there are no returned payments. I can't see my bill or get access to my statement. My statements are online to save paper.

If I could give zero star I would. Customer service is unprofessional, call center somewhere in the 3rd world. They have zero solutions to any of the issues with this card. Cancelled card because of the non sense

Getting raped by them is an understatement they will vigorously assault you to the point that rape would’ve been preferred. A one year loan will turn into a 4 year loan that does not get paid down unless you fully pay it off all at once. They will destroy it’s like multiple people taking their turn with you unless you’re bleeding out on the ground from every member of this company raping you so hard. You will he dead by the time it gets paid off. And honestly this loan will most likely go to your kids because it doesn’t get paid off. I’m not joking unless you pay the whole thing off at once you will continue getting raped by this company. Do not use them for any reason stay away

I completely paid off and closed my account the same time. Carecredit then came back and charged me interest after I closed my account. When I paid the interest off I requested a statement for a zero balance and closed account to be emailed and they are giving me a run around on that! Will NOT recommend them to anyone!!

I opened a 6 month no interest promotion on 10/08/2025 for $12,000. I set up automatic payments from my checking account. The first payment did not go through so a late fee was charged. I called and the automated system asked if I was calling about a late fee. I said yes and it said the late fee would be reversed. Then I spoke to a representative and asked why the payment did not go through (there were sufficient funds). He did not know why but said there may have been a transposition on the account number. I checked the number but it only showed as .....0186. The representative did not know what I had actually entered. I made the payment over the phone and very carefully entered the account number again. I was assured that the late fee would be reversed. Later I checked the account and found that the late fee had not been reversed so I called again. The representative transferred me to a supervisor and she said only one late fee could be waived. I said it was the very first payment and there was only one late fee. Then she checked and said the system had waived the fee so that's why she couldn't waive it. I said it didn't show on the account and was told it would take a couple days to post. A few days later, it didn't post so I called again. This time the representative told me it wouldn't show on my account until the next statement was issued. The December statement is now out and there is no credit for the late fee. Is everybody lying to me? Is their system messed up? Did the supervisor get mad and re-add the fee after I argued there had only been one late fee? Are they all incompetent? I called again on 01/08/26. The representative again insisted that the “system” waived the late fee and it shows on my December statement. It does not. I said I wanted to open a dispute and was told I would get an answer in 7 to 14 days. That didn’t happen. It has now been over 3 months since I first called with no resolution in sight.

Worst credit you can apply for!! They basically rob your ass if you don’t pay off the first year!! Don’t apply unless you want to get taken advantage of and go broke cause of them

I have 3 accounts with Synchrony. All have zero balances and they arbitrarily closed one of the accounts without notification. They said it was due to high balances and credit score. They are all at a zero balance and my credit score is well above 700. Will not ever do business with them again.
