If I could give it a zero i would ....misleading info on website ...sent 3 emails cancelling and contacted bank to block payment ...no correspondence at all....strongly advise give this company a big swerve ...kept detail from their site stating im not registered but don't trust them.at sll

They automatically subscribe you to the premium £39.90 per month and they say it's your fault for subscribing

Like most other reviews on this company which I unfortunately have just read, I paid what I thought was £5 or £6 for a check on a vehicle , initial check was free but if you wanted to see if it was involved in any accidents etc then it was which i now know was £5.95 which i paid, I then discovered a few days later £39.90 taken from my account so I have sent an email and awaiting reply.
I then came on to try and get a phone number for the company and discovered all these reviews all saying the same thing, this is a scam off a company so hopefully people read and take advice, I will now be contacting my bank after contacting the scam company and cancelling the contract that I unwittingly accepted. Scammers! Take subscription service off me. 39.99 a month. Bunch of robbers!

Do not use this company, not even for a 1 off search! You will automatically be entered into a monthly subscription costing £39.90. Happened to me and like an idiot did see it for 15 months. Luckily I bank with Nationwide and when I told them the refunded me the whole lot the next day as it is a fraudulant company. Shame I have to give 1 star, I'd give zero if I could.

Absolutely discusted with these people , I done a one off car check back in October, £5.99, they automatically enrolled me after 48 hours, which I wasn’t aware of , having checking my account this morning a payment of £39.90 Is due to come out, after finding out now they have take 5 payments since October last year. I’ve been in contact with my bank and I’ve also phoned car checking with no luck of getting any sort of refund, I’ve never recieved any e- mails off them regarding any subscription or any payments being taken out, when I asked them that they didn’t even have my e- mail address on record, just my bank details, just be aware of doing any checks with this company

They randomly started charging my credit card long after I made my first purchase. Disgusting behavior. Avoid avoid avoid.

As you can see everyone went through the same, you pay the £5 discounted from £20 and 2 days later they take £39.90 yes they give a report on your car happy days but its after the fact they on the sly assume you go onto a rolling subscription and take it out your bank. I was the unlucky one where my bank didn't block it and these have a loop hole to where they don't refund you. Unless you fight tooth and nail for it.

Update 20/01/2026: Gave me a refund in the end, best way to do it is persistence and use AI for a better formatted email as they cant be bothered with the hassle. I did this as well as threaten them with further action. Did the trick. Absolute joke, only reason i got this was through a sponsored video on YouTube from someone on the car scene..... Lesson learnt always read into a company before hand.

Total scam. £5.95 for a car check (which is good) but beware of the hidden £39.90 monthly reoccurring charges which are not 'clear and prominent' at the time of purchase.

As with the other reviews scammed as almost £40 taken instead of what was indicated. Should have stayed with car vertical is lesson i have learned

Along with everyone else recently they tried to take 39 out, luckily bank intercepted and blocked. ABOSOLUTE SCAM

Scam. Avoid. They take money from you under a "subscription" even when you buy a single check. £39.90 p month. Logged as fraud with my CC company.

As everyone else already mentioned after you pay for the full vehicle report, 2 days later they withdraw 40 £ from ypur account. Happened to me also, had to contact the bank to get them blocked. Absolutely disgusting

This is a Scam website. Period. As with everyone else on here, the same story. They took £5.95 for a useless car write up. The whole lot was completely innaccurate. I know because i was checking MY OWN CAR! the following day they then tried to take a further £40 from my account.

Luckily Barclays intercepted both transactions and the fraud team called me to notify me that the website is already listed as a Scam.

When i phoned them to confront them, they said they would no longer attempt to take payments and then hung up the phone. They didnt even ask me for any details, and i called them from a 141 (withheld number) prefix.

I paid for a car check £5.95. Then noticed another paymeny of £39.90 taken from my account two days later. I didn't agree to any further charge or subscription and it was not mentioned anywhere during the check process. In fact I've only had an invoice for the initial transaction. I have reported to the bank but I am not optimistic I will get it back. Beware.

BEWARE... They will take a subscription that's not obvious upfront.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM Stay away from this website, all the reviews of this company scamming with a subscription that you don't sign up for are true, I paid £5.95 for a one car check and then they tried to take £39.90, but thankfully my ban picked it up as a fraudulent charge and contacted me, they have now blocked this company for me, others have not been so lucky, I believe they also go by other names so please be very careful.

Checked a car out on this site payed checking fee, but then hit buy 39.90 taken out of bank ,do not use this site ripe off
