The planning and communication before the service were excellent. Everything came together perfectly. Highly recommended.

Kerrie and Suzanne were lovely. Really compassionate, helped with all our requests and ensured everything went to plan. At such a sad time they were amazing x

Suzanne was so professional and caring from the start to the finish. We would definitely recommend their services to family and friends.

The biggest bonus for me was ease of communication, I was trying to do several things at once , never a good thing with me , and good advice was key . The funeral was smooth and universally approved of , most felt uplifted by the celebrant and the simple character of the ritual . The bearers and the directors were nicely unobtrusive and there was kindness shown to the widow who's first language is Thai . If I ever have to use a funeral director in that area I would probably choose Camberley and district .

I would recommend Camberley & District Funeral Directors, from start to finish they handled my mother's funeral with so much care and respect.

Excellent service all round. Made organising my wife’s funeral very easy at such a sad time. The funeral, it’s self, could not have gone better. Found everybody friendly & easy to deal with. Communication was very good, too.

They were unfortunately going through a management change. They were sympathetic and reverent. The dressing of the body went very well. Unfortunately other parts were not so smooth and quite a few mistakes were made and messages were not relayed correctly.

I have used this company 3 times in the last 2 years.
They have been absolutely amazing.
I live in Devon,and I wanted my husband who had passed away,to be bought up to Hampshire,so I could have the funeral up there.where we have family and friends.
Nothing was to much trouble.they came and picked him up,and looked after him,up until his funeral.

I cannot speak highly enough of Karl and the team. They have displayed the utmost professionalism and thoughtfulness in the care of Mr Rai. From initial discussions through to the day of the funeral they were always understanding in our wishes and ready to offer help and advice whenever it was required.

Throughout the difficult emotional process of caring for my fathers funeral wishes, all the staff whereextremely helpful and supportive. It was necessary for my father to have a postmortem, which our family found very distressing. We were worried that we would have to change the date of my fathers funeral.
I I would particularly like to commend Karl and Shane for their help and support. On the day of my fathers funeral the staff where just wonderful. Thank you

Sadly my son passed away overseas recently and was repatriated back to Camberley and delivered into the care of Camberley and District Funeral Directors.

He travelled 6,000 miles home and disappointingly his last 5 were the most stressful and traumatic and solely down to the incompetence of Camberley and District Funeral Directors.

I can not fault the care of my son whilst at the funeral home and the consideration provided to our family to spend as much time with him as required ahead of him being laid to rest. Jo provided excellent customer service in respect of these two areas and I can not thank her enough. 2.5 would be a more realistic overall rating.

However having agreed the route of my sons final journey together with timings, the hearse arrived 35 minutes late to our home resulting in a knock on effect which ultimately resulted in the church service starting late and causing stress and anxiety to many of our friends and family.

Our beautiful service booklets, which we had spent a considerable amount of time perfecting were also delivered late which meant that many of the congregation failed to receive a copy.

Camberley and District Funeral Directors did accept that human error was to blame and provided a re-print of the service booklet and a donation to our chosen charity however this had to be negotiated which just added to our stress and to the fundamental disappointment of my sons final journey.

Whilst I am unable to compare I personally would recommend an independent funeral director in place of a national company. I feel sure they will be far more determined to provide the very best customer care and service for you and your loved one.

I’m so glad that I called Camberley and district. I spoke to Jo 1st and was so grateful of the support that myself and mother inlaw received. Not just Jo but Karl I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us and how they treated us from start to finish. The way they looked after my husband was amazing I saw him everyday until the day before the funeral nothing was to much for them they went above and beyond always sat us down before and after seeing him to talk us through how we feel etc. They really looked after us as well they really care about you as a person not just a client. They made us feel so comfortable a big thank you to Kayleigh the conductor she was amazing and also the lady that drove the family car. I’ve been back to have a cuppa with them and I will still pop in as I feel so relaxed and comfortable with them and knowing my husband was looked after.
