I would not recommend this site.
I started using when I was undergoing chemotherapy in 2023 and hardly used it,and ive been trying to usubscribe since, unfortunately the payment was being taken annually from my phone sim account. Not easy to usubscribe.
And its not that good don't bother.
The app itself is great. I use it to go to sleep and get back to sleep
BUT the admin side is awful. I have had difficulties over the years.
The latest problem: I was logged out of the app without warning about two weeks ago. I can't log back in because I cannot reset my password as it is not sending me a reset email. I contacted the helpline about two weeks ago but they say they are inundated and haven't yet replied
It costs about £50 per year so it is not cheap. I may try the app Headspace instead
Purchased annual subscription on 16th Nov. Was unable to access the content despite following all instructions. Contacted them via the online form asking them to resolve and then, when they didn't sort it out to refund. Just keep getting standard emails saying they are looking into it but nothing happens. Have now asked credit card Co to get it refunded but this can take 3 months! For an app that is supposed to reduce stress it's made mine worse. Don't buy!!?

Not a mother so listening to your so called expert intro the meditation about how she’s a mother first and foremost is tedious just get on with the job which is a guided meditation !
Beware of Calm app! I registered back in 2020 and pressed cancel mid-year via the Google payment link. Unbeknownst to me Calm carried on charging me for further TWO years (£28.99) regardless of me cancelling the subscription. I am now in the lengthy battle to get my money back. A real shame, since the idea is great, but they just take your money without consent!
As a therapist, I have been looking at many different ways to help my clients and also myself during this very challenging time. I used to recommend the Calm App as they gave a special offer for 60 days but took it away without notice. Then my own experience went south. I couldn't access the app which kept freezing, despite lots of "support" (asking for videos of the problem and not fixing it), I deleted and reinstalled it a number of times. I ended up buying a new tablet to instal it there and it worked for a short while but I am back to square one. Calm seem unable to fix it and will not consider a refund, or partial refund. Their support just repeats the same unhelpful tip. So, I am now using Insight Timer. Which works and has a lot more variety on meditation voices which my clients prefer. It's a shame because Calm used to be an OK product. But not if it doesn't work and not if the support doesn't fix the issues that many seem to experience.
