CALCAN PUBLICATIONS IS A SCAMMER

Be alert!
I got scammed by the the Callaghan Publications out of 1,270 US dollars.
I complained to my bank today 04/06/2026 and I will file the complaints to the Better Business Bureau, the FBI, Writer Beware, and Attorney General of New York (actually they you fake address which  belongs to a headquarter of the Amazon in the City of New York).
I am happy to show you all the proofs if you are interested in.
I just want to alert the other potential victims.

This is a scam company. I recently tried to contact them but they didn't respond. Please do not use this company. They are individuals outside the United States and are illegally using an Amazon Head Quarter address in New York.

They will call and hound you relentlesly to invest in other services to increase sales and visibility but won't deliver. However, when you inquire about the services, responses will be slow and you will be given many various excuses.

For example, I paid over a year ago for my book to be printed, distributed, and sold in 2 specific book stores. It has not happened yet. I have been given conflicting excuses as to why. After calling over and over to get me to invest in this opportunity, when I email to get updates, days go by with no response. One such example occurred recently when I emailed on March 11, March 16, and twice on March 18 before getting a response. On March 18 I was told the books have been dispatched to the bookstore but then on March 26, when I requested further updates, I was then told the shipment process to the bookstore has been delayed.

Another investment opportunity I was consistently badgered with was a website. I paid for a website in May 2025, nearly 10 months ago. As of this review, I still have no website.

At the writing of this review, I have "invested" approximately $7,500 in "opportunities" that have not been received.

I've published 3 books with Callaghan Publishers and now I'm working on a 4th. Excellent quality. The 1st 2 books were done in about 1 month. The 3rd took a bit longer but overall very happy with the results. They were competitive in pricing too which was a plus for me.

Their marketing support actually got my book into a few local bookstores! Something I never could have managed on my own.

We paid a lot of money up front, and here we are 5 months later and still no book. They are slow to respond (if they reply at all), despite their claims that the process only takes a few days. The rep was an idiot. The rep in India wanted access to my Amazon account, after I entered my social security number, DOB and credit card info ... sorry pal, that ain't happening. My picture book had many photos cropped beyond usefullness, and the sizes were all wrong. I would urge everyone to avoid this company.

**Review Title: Extremely Frustrating Experience with Callahan's Publishing**

I am disappointed to share my ongoing experience with Callahan's Publishing. Initially, I submitted a comprehensive layout along with 154 stories, anticipating a professional collaboration. After discussions, we settled on publishing 30 stories per volume, with completion dates promised for February and April 2025. However, it is now July 25th, and my book remains unfinished.

Two months ago, I received an email claiming the book was complete. To my shock, it was only 54 pages long, with one story repeated multiple times. The stunning images are overshadowed by the inadequate content, which should have been around 400 pages.

In hopes of moving forward, I personally selected and organized 30 stories to facilitate the process, yet there has been no progress on their end. The lack of communication, professionalism, and attention to detail has left me incredibly frustrated.

I had high hopes for this project, but the experience has been rife with delays and disappointments. I cannot recommend Callahan's Publishing until they address these serious issues.

I knew was more than just another project. The genuine investment in my book's success, combined with unmatched expertise, made this journey extraordinary.

It's difficult to overstate how stress-free my experience was. From edits to design, every detail was considered with precision and passion, making my book everything I hoped for.

I really enjoyed working with them. The experience was great whenever I needed an answer. They was right on it that either text me. Or call me the next day. What a great group to work with. Thanks again, guys, y'all made our dreams, come true.

This looks like a business that used to be decent but due to the horrible economic collapse almost everywhere these days, it went out of business, I'd stay away from it

I had a very disappointing experience with this publishing and marketing service. Communication was poor, and there were constant delays with minimal updates. Despite their promises, the marketing efforts were ineffective, with little to no impact on my book's visibility or sales. I expected a more professional approach but felt unsupported throughout the process. I don't fully remember all the details, but based on my experience, I believe this is the company that provided such subpar service. I wouldn’t recommend their services for anyone seeking serious results in publishing and promotion.

Callaghan Was a Disappointment

When I first picked Callaghan Publication, it was through them saying they were tied to amazon however after cross-referencing this never be the case. It felt, to put it mildly, disingenuous.

Worse still, they did not strike me as particularly knowledgeable or savvy about publishing. The process took over five extortionate months and my book has not been published yet. The communication was bad and it really showed that they did not know how to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Not recommend, I regret to deal with them in my project.

I wanted to publish my picture book on Amazon but was overwhelmed by the process. Trevor Moore guided me through each step, from formatting to uploading. With his help, my book is now available on Amazon as well as Barnes & Noble reaching readers worldwide.

They actively sought my input and incorporated my feedback throughout the process. The open communication and team work fostered a positive and creative environment
