Unethical practices

Unethical practices, horrible customer service and unwillingness to help there customers. They attempt to make it extremely difficult almost impossible to get any service from there team. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache and colossal waste of time.

Customer Service is at an all time low…

Customer Service is at an all time low as is their practice of increasing annual mileage based on thier 'proprietary method". As retired seniors, how can they justify doubling the annual mileage for no reason at all. It is just a guess and a deceitful practice to in crease rates. Trying to get it corrected is a whole other mess with the poor customer service they fail to provide.

Customer service

Great rates, but even greater customer service!! I love knowing that I can reach someone with questions without getting trapped in a phone tree! What a breath of fresh air that is in this day and age of
technology and digital avoidance of helping people. Cal Cas is awesome!!

Flawless Experience

My CalCas representative was amazing! Filing a claim was easy and fast, securing a rental was easy and fast, I was able to choose my own auto body shop, and closing up the claim was easy and fast. My car was ready to go in about a week. I was very, very satisfied with my experience.

We’ve never made a claim

We’ve never made a claim. We’ve been happy up until recently when you made a significant and abrupt increase in rates that was nearly double of what we were previously paying. I understand rate increases are part of life, but more incremental increases should be considered.

California Casualty has been with us for over 10yrs. They have live people who are knowledgeable and are there to help. During an claim Cal Cas was with us every step of the way giving us details and answering our questions.

Avoid California Casualty

Spare yourself. Expensive and substandard coverage. No app. You will pay much more with this company and receive far less coverage. I just switched to a new provider after they had raised my insurance to $300 per month, and having given them thousands over the past 6 years without a single claim, I just paid a $500 deductible to have a broken windshield replaced. I wish I had shopped around before I filed the claim, but it was that experience combined with noticing they had increased my payment and charged me $300 a few weeks ago that made me realize I had to leave!

must of our transactions are by phone…

must of our transactions are by phone call and the last time I called we set up auto withdrawal and this works great. I was told that there is a Senior discount through you company I would like you to please check and see if am on it, If I am not please change it I don't want to leave you company I have been with you many many years I thank you for the Service you have given

Unresponsive and more than willing to jack up your rates by astronomical proportions. My car insurance for a fender bender went up by more than 250% in one year.
