I have been a loyal customer for years
I have been a loyal customer for a long time, but I will never buy PERFECT Sports products again. I recently purchased a tub of the Strawberry DIESEL New Zealand Whey (Lot # 2605dlsb2992). The powder, which is usually stark white, was completely yellow and had a distinctly different, off-putting smell.
I took photos comparing a normal batch to this contaminated one and reached out to customer service, assuming they would want to recall a bad batch. Instead, I received a copy-and-paste response claiming it was just "natural seasonal dairy variation." When I pushed back and pointed out the completely different smell, they blatantly lied, claimed they did an "internal investigation," and told me the product was completely fine to consume.
Telling a customer to consume a product that has completely changed color and odor is incredibly dangerous and shows a terrifying lack of safety standards. They refused to take any accountability or issue a replacement, and instead told me to go make it the retailer's problem.
If you track your nutrition seriously and expect high-quality ingredients, look elsewhere. This company does not stand behind its products and does not care about customer safety.
