A friend introduced me to C2, so I had a consultation with Esther. I signed up for a 240-hour contract. When I asked her to write ‘240 hours’ on the contract, she refused. She said she was providing 40 hours of service at her own discretion and would just inform the staff member in charge. She said it was a chain and that was the only way it could be done, so I assumed that was the case. We never received the whole 40 hours.
About 8 months after enrolling at C2, my child’s grades were poor, so on 9 February 2026, I sent a message to the academy saying I wanted to speak to Esther.
They cancelled the appointment twice. Once, they cancelled on the day itself. We had even taken time off work to wait for them.
We finally managed to meet Esther on 17 March. We had to wait for over a month.
During the consultation, Esther said she would like to meet the school counsellor as well, so we arranged an appointment with the counsellor.
Throughout the session, Esther just stared at my child’s face and spent almost the entire time talking only about next term’s classes. We could tell Esther was not prepared for this meeting nor was she ready to answer any questions. We figured she had a month to prepare for the meeting, but it seemed like she did not prepare at all for the meeting and was just winging it. Sometimes Esther would say the same things over and over because she ran out of things to say.
Just as we were about to ask a question, a staff member came in, saying there was another appointment, and kept giving us dirty looks from inside the consultation room.
In the end, she switched tutors and claimed she hadn’t known my child’s grades had dropped. She just blamed the staff, saying she knew nothing because they hadn’t told her. She then simply stated that the staff member in charge of our child had gone on maternity leave on the very day of the consultation.
She turned up without even having looked at the email we’d sent. She claimed she hadn’t received it, but when she showed us the inbox on her computer, our email was clearly visible. Her lie was exposed. She blamed the staff member for this too, insisting she wouldn’t have known if the staff member hadn’t told her.
After claiming they needed time to prepare for the consultation, making us wait for over a month and cancelling the appointment twice, they eventually turned up for the consultation without even properly checking the email we’d sent.
They introduced a new staff member, saying this person would be taking care of us from now on, and the consultation ended with the new staff member giving us a cold shoulder.
Esther didn’t turn up on the day of the counselling appointment, which did not surprise us.
In the end, we spent almost $15,000 to get no improvement in my daughter’s grades. Esther is lying, incompetent director for C2. Just pathetic.

Our daughter had a great experience with C2. The teachers were knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely helpful throughout her time there. They provided clear guidance, encouraged her progress both academically and with ACT test. We're very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend C2 to other families.

Evil Company. Unhelpful and using unethical tactics to overcharge customers. I improved to a 1570 SAT completely without C2 while my sister used it and had a horrible experience.

They tried to scam my mom outta 21k. PLEASE AVOID THIS scummy "tutoring center." They only focus on getting money and make the diagnostic test difficult on purpose to trap you and your parents. They also make you sign a waiver that restricts you from getting a refund. I will not be going there again. Worst experience ever. kuttay.

C2 helps you prepare for test, quizzes, etc. They have qualified tutors so you don't have to worry about the quality of their tutors.

C2 has really helped my daughters improve their SAT scores as well as their AP curriculum. My children told me that their tutors are very good at explaining complex concepts to them to help them understand and do well in school. I recommend C2 to all my friends and clients.

C2 has been an amazing resource for my son. He has used the tutors for both SAT prep and additional assistance with certain AP classes. The tutors are knowledgeable and patient. We are thrilled we decided to work with C2!

I didn’t see any real improvement or value for the money I paid. I expected professional support and structure, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. My daughter ended up scoring better on ACT score which they were discouraging her to take. I wouldn’t recommend this service based on my experience.

The guidance and support I’ve received helped test well on my SATs and AP exams. My tutor also helped me better articulate my ideas for my college essay. I’m already prepared to submit college applications!

First, they say unlimited tests.. Then they do not have the test paper for review till you take the class to review the tests, which is one set of classes for English and math.

We’ve had an excellent experience with C2; they are patient, encouraging, and able to explain concepts in ways that really connect with my child. I highly recommend C2 to any parent looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring tutor.
