Bad customer service - do not recommend
I purchased 1,000 webcam camera covers to find that they caused our laptop screens to crack. I complained but was told that there was no evidence to suggest the covers had caused the cracking (despite submitting photographic evidence). And that they had 'no control over the force we had applied' when closing our laptops.
It was also noted that 'this was an entry level item' as if we should have expected this from their budget range.
The damage was clearly caused by the camera covers but their response was to shift the blame instead of acknowledging the problem.
Do not recommend.

Once again our sincere apologies for your dissatisfaction with the web cam covers. As discussed these were supplied to you over a year ago now and this is the first we have heard of your complaint. We have spoken in depth with the supplier of the covers who has not received any complaints about the web cam covers despite having supplied thousands of the web cam covers to lots of very happy customers.
Whilst an image was supplied of a cracked laptop screen there is no evidence to support that the web cam cover caused the screen to crack. Having done some extensive research on the internet it does appear that there is some limited anecdotal information regarding using webcam covers on Macbook pros 16. This seems to be more of an issue with the Macbook pro screens because of the tolerances on the device than web cam covers in general. However the information is scant so it does not appear to be a major problem, nor is there any further information suggesting that web cam covers cause damage to other makes of laptop. This does not make the web cam cover faulty more additional care needs to be taken when using them on a Macbook.
There was no attempt to shift blame and not acknowledge the problem, in the event that there had been reported issues with the web cam covers causing damage to screens then this information would have been forthcoming. From a customer service perspective we feel that there is little else that we could have done differently. We have given you the information to contact our governing body who will be happy to independently investigate your complaint further if you feel we have not dealt with it to your complete satisfaction.
