Great service
Jason at Buy Kitchen Worktops was a brilliant help about which solid surface worktop to buy, arranging samples, giving advice about fitting, and always answering any questions I had. The Mirostone worktops we bought arrived in good condition, and look brilliant in our new kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Great Service
A friend of ours recommended Buy Kitchen Worktops for our new kitchen surfaces. I have to say the service we have received from Jason and his team has been first class. Nothing has been too much trouble and communication has been excellent throughout. From the initial quotation right through to installation, we have been impressed with the level of professionalism and care, not only from Buy Kitchen Worktops but also from the templater and the fitting team. I would not hesitate to recommend BKW to anyone looking for good quality worktops installed at a competitive price.

Amazing Service
I was absolutely amazed that they were able to make the worktops fit in our kitchen considering there are no straight walls or right angled corners. But fit it does, a remarkable piece of work resulting in a fabulous finish.

Avoid BKW
Avoid BKW. All comms absolutley great, until things went wrong. Worktops were delivered and fitted, and I signed a form at the fitting stating I was happy. Unfortunately, in the flurry of the fitting, and with 3 fitters crammed into my kitchen, with their tools out on top of worktops, I had not initially properly noticed a colour differentiation between the island and worktop - my builders saw the surfaces the next day and stated I should demand a replacement as the batch colours were clearly mismatched. In addition to that, having been told there would be no join in the island surface, I noticed there was in fact a join. I was told photos were not clear in illustrating the issues. And I was told I had no leg to stand on, as the fitters got my signature stating I was happy. This is ridiculous. Consumer law provides a legally recognised time period with which to raise issues....and this extends well beyond the day of receiving the goods. I requested several times a visit from the manufactur - this was outlined as an option on BKWs website if photos cannot clearly illustrate the problem. I also requested confirmation in writing that the island should not have this join. BkW ignored all these messages, which is just manifestly unprofessional. I would avoid BKW at all costs and head to a company where you know issues will be dealt with fairly, promptly and professionally. I dread to think how they handle warranty claims based on what I have experienced. I am now exploring my legal position, having reached a brick wall with BKW ignoring all my emails.

Buy Kitchen Worktops are an e-commerce retailer. We do not manufacturer or stock worktops. We act as an agent / introducer for several UK worktop suppliers and manufacturers. Consumers use us to gain access to the manufacturer's products at trade prices. On that basis, we make it very clear to our customers what their obligations are in advance.
Using Trustpilot as an independant review site demonstrates that we do not hide behind our website and will take the bad reviews, as well the the excellent ones, on behalf of our suppliers.
In this particular case, our customer inspected the worktops on completion of the installation and signed the manufacturer's satisfaction sheet as 100% satisfied. Given that the customer had access to us by email, landline phone and had our Director's personal mobile phone number if she needed to raise any issues during the installation, we heard nothing.
Regardless of our customer having inspected and signed off the worktop installation, we offered to help with the issues our customer's builder seemed to have with the worktops. This is always going to be a challenge once the manufacturer has a signed satisfaction note in their possesion, but nevertheless we tried. We requested evidence from our customer of the issues. The photographic and video evidence was inconclusive. Regardless of this, we passed the evidence to the manufacturer, Sheridan Fabrications, for review. They concluded, having looked at our customer's evidence and their own images of the completed installation, that they were taking no further action. We requested confirmation that all the worktops were manufactured from the same colour batch. They confirmed this to be correct.
In regards to the worktop join, our customer chose Apollo Slab Tech acrylic. This material is seamlessly bonded and joined. Sometimes large island worktops are factory joined, sometimes site joined, dependant on access into the property. Our customer's island worktop was factory joined. At no time did we state that the customer's worktops would be joint free.
As a national e-commerce retailer it is impossible for us to make site visits, however the manufacturer may at their discretion should they feel it necessary.
It is our job to communicate between the two parties. Unfortunately, sometimes our customers do not like the manufactuer's response. This inevitably leads to 1 star reviews, however we feel we as the retailer have done nothing wrong.
Our customer has been advised that we can help her no futher unless she has a warranty claim.
Manufacturers' warranties are treated in exactly the same way, we liaise with our suppliers on behalf of our customers. The warranty is not with Buy Kitchen Worktops, therefore the manufacturer's decision is theirs to take.
We would like to reassure our public audience that if we are ever wrong, we will correct our mistakes at our own expense. On this occasion, Buy Kitchen Worktops have done everything possible to help our customer, who had previously written to us stating "the kitchen worktops look lovely".

very poor company very unhappy, received damaged worktop, because it had passed 72 hours they wouldn't do anything about it very rude they even accused me of the damage!
This company is truly unbelievable, they believe they can have the law in their own hands.
here is some useful information
Your legal rights to a refund
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations are the two pieces of legislation that set refund rights for consumers. The main points and rights conferred include:
You have 30 days to return faulty goods and receive a full refund
You’re entitled to ask for a refund or price reduction after one failed attempt by the retailer to repair or replace a faulty item. Or you can request another repair or price reduction at no extra cost
No deductions can be made from a refund within the first six months after purchase, except for motor vehicles.
Online
When you shop online, you have a 14-day grace period to change your mind after receiving the item. This is enshrined in law under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Once you’ve changed your mind, you then have a further 14 days to return the item.
It doesn’t matter why you’ve changed your mind. These distance-selling regulations apply to all purchases where you’ve bought the item away from the seller’s premises. That includes purchases made online, by postal order, over the phone and through TV shopping channels.
However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. You won’t be entitled to return the following types of items:
Those that have been made to your specifications or personalised
Those that are perishable (like flowers or fresh food)
Those that were sealed on delivery but have now been opened (such as DVDs or computer games)
Those that date quickly, such as newspapers, magazines or periodicals
Anything based on betting, gaming or lotteries
Events tickets
Digital goods (such as music downloads).
Of course, if an item bought online turns out to be faulty, then you’re protected by the same rights that apply to purchases made in person. The retailer must also cover the cost of return.
As you can see by their reply, they are accusing me of wanting a free worktop! I just want a undamaged worktop that I had paid for!
The worktops are poorly packed. Just have a small amount of cardboard on the edge then wrapped in clear plastic.

Buy Kitchen Worktops take great care to ensure all of our customers receive the very best service. This is clearly demonstrated by the majority of our customers' reviews on Trustpilot. We are happy to take this opportunity to provide a clear unbiased public response to our customer's issue.
Every customer who places an order with us is emailed immediately to confirm receipt of their order. Within this email, we also provide clear precise instructions on checking the delivery and correct storage, as all worktops are shipped directly from our suppliers to you.
Our suppliers do understand that it is sometimes not convenient for our customers to unwrap and inspect goods on delivery, therefore they allow a suitable time period to report damages not clearly seen through the protective covering.
In this case, our customer chose to disregard our pre-delivery advice. He is now reporting damage outside of the allowable timeframe. We have advised our customer that we are unable to raise a claim with our supplier. Our customer feels this is unreasonable and believes we should cover his mistake and offer him a free replacement worktop.
We believe we have handled the complaint correctly and courteously. At no time did we accuse our customer of causing the damage. Had our customer followed our pre-delivery advice and reported the damage within the correct timeframe, our supplier would have replaced the worktop free of charge without question.
