I ordered the Macsween haggis along with a few extra items for my Glaswegian husband’s birthday and for Christmas. We live in England, so he really misses his Scottish food, and this was the perfect way to bring a taste of home.

I'm rating 1 star because I can't rate it zero! Abysmal service. My order eventually arrived late - which was no good for Burns Night. Items for which I was charged were missing.
I tried several times to contact this company - both before and after the delivery - with no response. I tried email and telephone (no-one answers the phone).
Do not EVER buy from this company!

We do take concerns like this seriously, however we can’t see any unresolved correspondence linked to this review. We would really like the opportunity to look into what happened with the delivery timing and the missing items and get this properly resolved for you.

Last time the shipment went missing and I had to resort to PayPal too get a refund
Absolutely no communication from them.
Tried again this week. Paid for next day delivery but wasn't even shipped until 48hours+ later.

Got my delivery today and can’t wait to try my haggis also got MacLeod and MacLeod Stornoway Black Pudding. Very impressed with the service also.

Exceptionally poor. After 5 days I had no confirmation that the goods were shipped. I tried many days to contact the organisation but received no response to my emails or even anyone picking up the phone when I called. I had to make alternative food plans for my birthday which was extremely disappointing.
Best Haggis we have had in many years. Ordered early and put in the freezer. Defrosted the day before, it was good and moist. Campbells of Scotland does good service and meat.
My friends in Latvia wanted me to bring them some Haggis to try.
I emailed the company beforehand to find out if the product would survive the trip and to see if they could meet the delivery window around the bank holiday weekend
No reply to email, placed order anyway, got an email on the day of delivery saying the product was out of stock and my order would be refunded
The product is still listed as "In-Stock" on their website, which means either that they still have the product and didn't want to send it to me for whatever reason, or that they are now wilfully deceiving their customers into thinking they have a product that they don't
Even though staff failed to respond to my enquiry, the website's checkout provided assurances that the product was in stock and that the delivery window would be met. These assurances prevented me from seeking an alternative source of Haggis to bring with me.
In a world where buy-haggis.co.uk did not exist, I would likely have found a more reliable, less deceitful source of Haggis, and would be carrying this wonderful foodstuff to a new frontier later today
