We recently upgraded to the EE Smart 5G Hub (H5MS). While the hardware is cutting-edge, EE Business’s billing practices are a massive disappointment. In 2026, it is unacceptable that EE still mandates paper invoices for business customers with no option for digital/email delivery.
We are striving to be a paperless office and reduce our environmental footprint, yet EE is our only supplier actively hindering this goal. For a company that publicly boasts about its 'Net Zero' targets, forcing physical waste on customers is hypocritical and outdated. Great tech, but terrible, non-environmentally friendly administration.

Then tell me after I purchase watch its another £6.50, then before holiday tell me roaming is £11.90 extra and if I had not rung I would of been royally screwed.
They also cant put a spending cap on watch so could get stung on the roaming on that, also appears zero recourse, they have the contract and really dont care.

I switched from personal to EE Business at the start of this year after more than 20 years as a customer. It has been a disaster.
I called EE before making a call to South Africa specifically to confirm my international add-on covered it. I was told yes. I made the call and received a £170 bill. Since then I have raised the complaint multiple times by phone and by email and every time I call back it has vanished from the system. Nothing has been investigated, no one has called me back, and they don't pull the call recordings that would prove what I was told.
There is also no online account access whatsoever, so I am entirely reliant on whatever a call handler tells me with no way to verify it myself. It is insane that in 2026 there is no online ability to check your add-ons or any of the parameters on your account. Your left to constantly call the call centre.

Please go carefully if you still have a Pocketlandline account with EE Business. We discovered that the number can just be reallocated if another business claims it. no reference to the business account holder / longstanding bill payer inside of a direct debit being in place without fail for over a decade. The product is no longer available, but please go carefully if you rely on the service for your business. The complaints process did not resolve the problem either and told no escalation is possible.

I have had a persistent issue with the app/website where I cannot register my phone. This hasn't been resolved for the whole two years I have been with EE, despite complaining multiple times. I have no access to any info on my contract or any visibility to what I am paying for.

Absolutely shoddy website when it comes to paying. I've tried for several days now to pay my bill on the EE app and on its website. Every time, it says "payment didn't go through - please contact us". When I did so, I had to fight with its chatbot to be put through to an agent ... who helpfully told me the "server was overloaded" and I should try again. In the meantime, of course, late fees have been applied. It's pathetic. I cannot wait to go back to O2!

I have had to phone ee 6 times to resolve a problem renewing my contract. Each time they have said they have solved the issue, only for it to continue. I have now been billed over £10 more than my agreed "new" contract. Just spent 2 hours on the phone to see, and transferred 3 times to different departments. An appointment for Openreach was made 4 times, which they didn't show, due to the contract not taken in their system. Trying to get this resolved has been impossible, extremely poor customer service. They just keep making the same mistakes.

I have had a mobile contract with EE for many years and I am locked into a business contract until November 2027. A very urgent issue arose when I was in Portugal, and I was alarmed to discover that no-one could call me from the UK and I couldn't call the UK. My phone told me I was connected to the main network in Portugal, NOS, and should have been connected to EE. I had wifi in my hotel and I communicated with EE using text messages via their App. Despite communicating with two customer service advisors, restarting my phone several times and attempting unsuccessfully to connect to other networks, it was impossible to make a call to the UK. In the end I was advised to call EE's UK technical department, impossible as I could not make calls to the UK! In desperation, I ended up crossing into Spain and connecting to Orange/EE there, and 5 hours after I first contacted EE for help I was able to call the UK. After I returned I raised a formal complaint, and after waiting two weeks with no contact from EE I received a text to tell me the complaint had been closed! Since then, and since posting the original version of this review, I have spoken to people at EE who have told me to contact EE before I go to Portugal and they will "see what we can do", with no guarantee that I will be able to make calls from Portugal next time. I have suggested that it would be sensible to be able to contact their technical department via WhatsApp from abroad, if it is impossible to connect to a mobile network but possible to connect to the internet via Wifi. This suggestion appears to have fallen on deaf ears. In the light of my recent experience, and the fact that it isn't possible to talk to anyone at EE who is based in the UK, I will be changing mobile provider when my contract ends.

I have been with EE for 23 Years for my business and have 15 plus lines and they are now the biggest waste of time . There customer service is no longer a UK centre and it is so difficult to sort an issue . I returned a broken 13 iPad and they agreed to replace , They sent a 11 and said that's what i sent. Wrong. 2 and a half hours later and still cant get the issue sorted , Transferred to a different person so many times, Incredible poor service

Been subjected to this problem twice- ordered a phone in November 25 said on the website should be dispatched within a day waited for a week no contact. Called them only to find out the phone is out of stock despite the website saying it is in stock. Cancelled my order- thought I’d try again and the same thing has happened. Not too impressed by their customer service even when escalated to a manager. Loyalty as a customer for 10+ years seems pointless.

Was interested in getting EE 4g broadband for business. Person from EE phones to do identity check with the most random of ways to do it. Quick fire questions and then says identity check failed bye bye….. eh!? How in the hell does that work? I’ve been a personal EE customer for years. I’m seriously thinking of cancelling the lot now. Very disappointed with this so called ‘service.’ 😡

We moved our business mobile services to EE following assurances about service quality and account support. Unfortunately, our experience since signing has been extremely disappointing.
Since December 2025, we have been attempting to obtain valid VAT invoices for our business account. Despite multiple calls, repeated requests, and a formal complaint to both EE and BT, we are still without the required VAT documentation.
Over the course of several conversations with different EE representatives, we have been given contradictory explanations, including:
• Receiving a text each month to say out bill is available to download online but then being told the online portal had been down for months
• Being told VAT invoices had been requested and would be issued
• Being told there was a “technical glitch”
• Being told there was never a glitch and that EE did not have our VAT number which they claimed was the real issue (despite never previously requesting it)
• Being promised invoices by specific dates which were not honoured
• Being promised a complaints team call back within one week – which never happened
We were offered a £30 inconvenience payment, which we declined, as we required resolution rather than compensation.
As a VAT-registered business, access to valid VAT invoices is a basic compliance requirement. The ongoing failure to provide them, combined with the lack of clear ownership or accountability, is extremely concerning.
I would welcome contact from a senior member of the EE complaints team who can take ownership of this matter and ensure the outstanding VAT invoices are issued without further delay.

BT Business signed me up to EE Business mobile. 4 phones. The first lot were "lost" by DPD. The account was cancelled for some reason (not by me) and I was charged £1000 to cancel the contracts. More wasted time getting this resolved. Finally received the 4 phones but can't set them up. The EE Business website will not let me attach them to the account. Hours on the phone later, no resolution. Was told to go to a shop. Did so. Was given a number for IT Technical Support. They don't answer the phone. Still no resolution. It's been a month. Can't use the phones or see my account. Shocking customer service. I am a very unhappy customer.

Awful service and support, errors on billing every single month since renewing my contract in October. I'm being charged for calls that should be included in my allowances. I have to call to switch inclusive extras every time I travel and return, yet I can still be charged or barred from calling out to EU countries. Incapable billing team that struggles to comprehend the issues, never solves the problems, and regularly disconnects my calls. I've wasted hours on the phone to them in the past 4 months. Strongly recommend you avoid using the! The price they charge to call EU countries is absurd. I should have 500 minutes included in my bundle, but otherwise it's £1.80 a minute. I suggest trying ID mobile, granted they don't offer a call abroad bundle, but their charges are 10x less on average per minute and the overall costs per month are likely to be less considering how much time I waste calling EE to fix. Offshoring all your call centres was a bad move EE! VERY POOR SERVICE
Update 1: After submitting this review, EE asked for more information. I promptly provided this, but as predicted NOTHING has changed. Today marks 20 Days since notifying EE of my complaint. I've had ZERO communication from them.
On the 13/02/26 I visited EE in Tamworth. They advised me there are no call centres outside of the UK. They advised they would ask a UK Business BDM to contact me, but nothing has come of this. On 20/02/26 I did call EE to chase the matter and the operative confirmed they are based in India. They have seen a note added by EE Tamworth, and apologised for no action being taken. I was told the matter would be escalated, but again, ZERO response to date from EE. UTTERLY USELESS COMPANY!
Update 2: 4 Weeks after opening the complaint I have received my first contact from EE. The operative told me that a call has been listened to (not what I asked for) and that the handler of the complaint would call me back. 2 Minutes after the call I was notified via SMS that my complaint was closed, without a resolution or my agreement. I've called them again to reopen, was placed on hold, and then cut off. Called again and was advised that a call was listened to, nothing was found, and therefore it was closed. I have requested they reopen the complaint an evaluate the entirety of the data that's relevant to the case. Waiting once more for a proper solution from EE.
The challenge with offshoring the contact centres is clearly evident in my exchanges and experiences. There's a lack of accountability, terrible organisation and difficult communication, making the services unfit for purpose.

Abysmal. Perpetually charging us without invoicing first - completely incapable of running their own business let alone supporting others. Only allow us to receive regular invoices by post to the one listed business address - say we cannot see them online or by email due to a 'systems failure' that they admit has been going for over a year.

I have a business contract. When I renewed my contract 2024, I was offered a “FREE” gift. An Apple Watch, I was told it was lucky because today they had a special deal. I didn’t specifically want a watch. I got swept away with the whole thing, I was not given the full details and definitely did not get told you will be charged for a sim ! In my naivety I thought the watch worked from my phone ! Nothing was explained. There was a lack of transparency. I was in fact also unable to look at my contract on line due to EE having a problem for business customers to see their bills for over a year or more! It was not until I received a requested paper bill for my Accountant that it became clear my sim that I have never used to this day was costing £16 per month. This Apple Watch sim has now gone up to over £19 per month. I have still never used it or the watch EE can see this is unused. My 87 year old Dad has the watch to track his fitness. I have emailed and spoken to customer service and just recently for hours sat on the phone. The reason although my Mobile phone sim only business contract ends in March, to my dismay I saw on the paper statement not long ago that my “FREE” Apple Watch is one year longer and finishes in 2027. I have been mislead and treated appallingly, speaking to the overseas customer service was hopeless, they told me I was fully aware that the watch was separate, at that point I felt upset and just broke down in tears because I have been taken advantage of. Only last week my partner who also has a business sorted a new contract for his business phones he was asked would you like a “FREE” gift, obviously clued up on the Con ! He said explain Free what do you mean they said a free ipad or watch, he asked is there anything I pay for then, they said well, yes a sim ! SO 2 YEARS DOWN THE LINE EE ARE OFFERING A FREE GIFT. It’s not transparent, fair, or nice to mislead your customers. I have been with EE for over 20 years with my mobile phone and Broadband a lot of years including home phone I have just ceased the contract this week.
I am still with my Mobile contract at the moment. I have written to customer service, then informed, it’s not the right department, I have wasted hours and still in the same stressed out upset situation.
I am in the process of now spending more money for my Solicitor to deal with this for me.
I wanted to highlight this devious wording whilst ringing and upgrading your accounts, Please do not get fooled by the FREE gift ! Also be aware that if they treat you like me you will be in one year longer contract with your free Gift !!

EE are misleading people about the whole EE-ID/accessing account online. For some reason (reputation I guess!) they don't want to admit publicly that it does not work.
In summary they have been trying to shoe horn the consumer EE ID platform into the business world and it does not work. Hasn't for well over a year. So you cannot get an EE ID, you cannot add your products, you cannot view bills, make changes etc etc.. there is NO WAY to do this. They cannot support it.
I wish they would be honest with people. I would never have signed up if I had known. The business exec team were quite adamant as well that I am locked into a contract and they will not let me exit... nice of them :)

EE have left us, as a small not-for-profit, with internet speeds that mean we have to limit the services people are able to offer from our space for over a year. Despite multiple attempts to get them to help, they have done absolutely nothing. This is having a big impact on our financial sustainability, but EE have not offered any solutions at all, and are demanding an extortionate termination fee for us to cancel the contract, despite their employees acknowledging the service is unfit for purpose.
It's been a year of pulling my hair out trying to deal with them with absolutely zero progress. Tech support are atrocious, and the entire experience has been woeful from the very beginning.
Meanwhile, Three are offering multiple solutions to our specific problem (external hubs and antennae) as standard and at no extra cost. EE refuse to offer us any support whatsoever.
Oh - AND - I haven't been able to log into the online business platform once, despite multiple attempts at getting customer service to help. I still am not completely sure it exists.
I could not regret choosing EE as a service provider any more than I do. As an alternative, I would recommend simply banging your head against the nearest wall. It's cheaper and you can stop when you want.
UPDATE: I sent them the information requested and they did absolutely nothing.
