It was nervou wrekin from the start but through the hole corse it was amazing and Definitely recommended for first time guiding

My Bushwise experience has been amazing. I've gained great knowledge and met some awesome new friends from all over the world. My expectations were exceeded and will always treasure my time with Bushwise.

The thing that made my experience great it's that bushwise gives you not only field guide course but also lifetime experience of the natural environment and teach you all the aspects of guiding which I'll highly recommend everyone who want to become a field guide to join bushwise I really enjoyed every moment spend with them

I couldn't find any school or college like Bushwise in Japan. This is the best way to reach my dream. If I knew Bushwise earlier, I could achieve my dream 10 years ago.

My 1st language is not English. Even if you are worrying about language, I highly recommend that you apply for the Bushwise course. Because this 6 months will change your life.
Always Bushwise staffs, trainers and friends encouraged me. I appreciate their kindness.

I enjoyed every second of my time at Bushwise. The course was fantastic, the trainers were so knowledgable and I have learnt so much during my time there. All the staff are amazing and they worked so hard to make my time there the best it could possibly be. I really couldn’t recommend Bushwise more.

Throughout my last 6 months at bushwise I have not had any dull moments. Everyday is unique and I always found myself learning something new everyday. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and made a lot of friendships that will last a lifetime. The training from bushwise is priceless.

I attended the Field Guide NQF 2(Apprentice Field Guide level qualification) course over the past 6 months through Bushwise where I achieved my NQF 2 certification, the experience was better than I could have ever imagined and I would highly recommend the Bushwise course to anyone looking to become a Field Guide. The staff are extremely professional but are also so friendly!

Ahhhh, Bushwise, what can i say, i just completed their 23 week course on becoming an apprentice feild guide and all i can say is Amazing, the staff on ground are extremely friendly and helpful as well as the staff away from campus in the office department, the food was amazing, accommodation was really good and some days i really wish i could have had more sleep😅, but there is still more than enough time to get your sleep in😅. The course was an amazing journey and i made a lot of friends as well as memories along the way.

I really enjoyed the course!! I found the content informative and relevant. I enjoyed the extra courses that was presented to us and feel like these add skills that we wouldn’t necessarily have considered important, but is going to be of great service. The staff was helpful and open, they really went the extra mile and we all appreciated all their efforts to make the course as comfortable as possible. Sometimes the communication process could have taken place more effectively, however these were minor cases, such as training providers changing dates and times.
Furthermore I really enjoyed the South African Wildlife College and think that it creates a great opportunity to get to know different people and provides ample learning opportunities!! Thank you Bushwise!!

My experience at Bushwise

I was very excited to start at Bushwise as I've wanted to do this course for a long time now.
Once we all settled in, Bushwise became very eventful, exciting and a rewarding experience.
We had great entertainment nights, breathtaking views and sigtings. Studied together which made us motivated to do even better. I learned more than I could've ever dreamed of at Bushwise and I am eager to learn so much more.
Everyday at Bushwise reminded me why I want to work in this field, there was never a dull moment and you never see the same things twice. Waking up with a cup of coffee and a breathing view followed by an elephant or something in the road as traffic. Yes please... Anyday!

This course at Bushwise had been something eventful. The trainers are very supportive and provided us with tons of support and knowledge while also keeping it a fun and interactive learning environment. All in all it’s been a wonderful experience meeting all of the students and trainers.

My overall experience at bushwise was incredible, the training is great with awesome trainers doing their best to help us.

Coming to Bushwise was an experience that won't be forgotten any time soon. The adventure from start to finish has been well worth every imperfection and the Bushwise quality and standard surpassed many expectations. Thank you Bushwise for not just giving us/me a foot to stand on, to start off in this industry, you gave us legs and boots too!

My time with Bushwise has been great. The first couple of months we went through all the modules we had to learn for the Bushwise test and they prepared us well for the FGASA test we had to take later. During the course we had ample opportunity to go to Makalali Nature Reserve and try to incorporate our gained knowledge and create a guided experience for our ‘guests’ (Which were fellow students). Being able to learn guiding in front of our friends made it a little bit less daunting to guide a drive.
All in all my experience with Bushwise has been great and would definitely recommend it to everyone trying to get into the guiding industry.

I joined bushwise I July 2021, made my decicion to leave Switzerland and make a lifelong dream come true by joining the bushwise field course. Learning about the bush, hearing, feeling and seeing what is out there and what there is to know, was a great experience. I can't wait to see what lies ahead, now six months in I'm looking forward to the placement, to get the practice for everything we got taught.
It was a very intense time, spending six months with a bunch of people I haven't met before and due to covid we weren't able to leave the campus at first. Luckily we got a nice property and sables.
