We recently worked with Burra Design to help us design an IKEA kitchen, laundry, mudroom and wardrobes as part of a major renovation at our property. Alex is very knowledgeable about the IKEA product range, due to his experience from an installation point of view and having previously worked at IKEA. It meant he was able to seemlessly transition us through the process from initial design brief to execution with his connections in the industry, and we are so pleased with the end results. We didn’t have the greatest experience at our local IKEA store and weren’t filled with confidence when we first visited, so decided to use Burra Design’s services instead and would 100% recommend them to anybody.

I've done a few kitchen renovations before and thought I knew what I was doing but I'm so pleased I enlisted Alex's help. He not only understands the inner workings of IKEA cabinetry, he also has insight into the assembly and offers great suggestions regarding functionality and design. Before our consultation I was feeling ambivalent about how our kitchen would turn out - now I'm excited and completely confident. Given the value that kitchens can add to a home, I believe this is one of the most worthwhile investments you can make when renovating or building.

Burra Design offer a brilliant service for those installing an Ikea Kitchen. Alex is extremely thorough and responsive. He has great product knowledge and offers wonderful design advice, which I found really helpful. His consideration of kitchen functionality only comes with a certain level of experience and skill. He is also well connected to local installers and suppliers this made the process even more simple. Highly recommend.

Alex is extremely knowledgeable and had some amazing ideas to make our kitchen and laundry much more functional and feel more spacious than what they were. He knew how to utilise every bit of space with the best storage idea. He had some great ideas about the aesthetics of the rooms and making symmetry and important part of the look.
