A reality check we needed
It’s been eye opening to say the least, a reality check we were a bit scared to face or subconsciously avoiding … but one that we very much needed. BDA has been awesome and we’re glad we pulled the trigger to join. The courses are easy to follow and comprehend. The coaches reply quick and are engaging. Also, the way it’s set up keeps you accountable. Helpful tip: don’t hesitate to ask coaches questions … as many times as you want. You’re not left on an island on your own.

Truly worth the investment
This coaching academy is an investment, and the long-term financial gains are way bigger than that initial investment, there are many financial strategies to build wealth that anyone with any income can apply, and most of us are not taught this anywhere. BudgetDog Academy teaches you that, and its not only the financial aspect, but the psychological aspect of it as well. I am building skills and a positive change in behavior that is now helping me build the future I have always wanted. Clarity, focused and community set Budgetdog apart
Budgetdog has helped us gain so much clarity into our financial health. It gave us the structure to understand our current financial status and clear steps on how to achieve our goals. Week four of this program is pretty intense but, we did it! We decided on the path to crush our debt and pull back on some post tax investments we had in place. The pay down debt or Invest calculator was phenomenal in helping us make our decision. Super excited to wrap this week up with love in our hearts and a new focus on growing our wealth.

This is a scam. All non-5-star reviews are flagged as defamatory and removed. Mine was taken down so I’m hoping at least one person will read this. They are very intriguing with the 6-month roadmap to financial control promise. But they are super shady about pricing. It took 3 phone calls and an hour Zoom call plus a lot of pushing to get pricing. $7500 for the roadmap. That’s why they turn lower earners down because they know they would never get that. You have to make $200K plus for them to even continue the conversation. I feel a little violated after investing my time to have this bombshell dropped.

Because every household’s financial situation is unique, our consultation process is designed to understand goals, complexity, and the level of support someone would benefit from before recommending a solution. Discussing cost without that context would often be inaccurate and potentially misleading.
For clarity, our records reflect two completed conversations - a phone call on February 6 and a Zoom meeting on February 12. Another meeting was scheduled in between but was not attended by you. When that happened, our team reached out to make sure everything was okay and worked with you to secure the next conversation. We share this simply so anyone reading has an accurate understanding of the timeline.
We provide multiple programs across a wide range of support levels. The recommendation you received was tied to the services appropriate for your situation based on what was discussed.
There is also no universal income requirement to continue a conversation. That is a false claim. At times, however, certain options may not be practical depending on someone’s financial position, and in those cases we believe honesty is more helpful than encouraging a poor fit.
We’re sorry the process felt frustrating or abrupt. That is never our intention. Our aim is always to guide people toward the level of help that will serve them best, even if that means we are not the solution.

It is slowly happening
I knew i needed accountability for my personal discipline. Life has been super busy. Finishing my MBA 4/26, my middle graduates high school and doing final college visits. Got 2 weeks behind & was giving myself a panic attach. Stayed focus knowing I need to do this. Sold something that covered all but $100 of a credit card debt. Took a $100 from my pay and paid it off in full.
Started the last week of December. Extra expenses have been discouraging due to the snow and college visits and take-out due to exhaustion but I have paid off 3 of the smaller credit card balances now. Removed the items from my vision board. Eyeing the next 3 credit cards to hopefully pay off by June if not sooner on my debt schedule & vision board (compliment each other).
My focus is debt payoff but have a very small amount flowing to high interest savings for emergency fund & a small amount into a brokerage account. Something is better than nothing. Hoping to sell more stuff to help pay some more cards off faster. A little excited today looking at everything. Kept up with fitness 3 mornings before work going on 5 weeks!!! I have lost inches from the emotional eating stopping and the focus on health & consistency. It all seems to be a total package.
