The week long Autumn spectacle showcases diversity in all forms and is accredited by BAFTA, British Independent Film Awards, IMDb, Iris Prize LGBT Film Festival, Film Freeway and Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Absolutely Marvellous - Up North Down South
The venue at Dean Clough, Crossley Gallery was brilliant for this event. To see two local films was really special and the main film Absolutely Marvellous was so inspirational and heart warming.
Looking forward to future events

I had a great time at the BUFF screening of "Up North, Down South". The hospitality, the host and the entire overall experience was 10/10. Well done Emmanuel and Claire!

We had an unbelievable experience with…
We had an unbelievable experience with this festival. It was during Covid times, so instead of just doing an online screening, like most other festivals, they took a different approach. They put our film, Loki's Game on Apple TV.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Emmanuel and the team.

Absolutely Marvellous! Meeting Emmanuel and Claire was an inspiration. What a team! Once again, many thanks for sharing your wonderful new genre experience with me: it is 'new' and a very refreshing film. Which was compelling watching your love letter to our Mums and, all those people who have helped us throughout our journey in life. Such a lovely story; I wish you both all success in greater exposure of Absolutely Marvellous.

We had a fantastic evening at the BUFF. Absolutely Marvellous event. The film was incredible, inspirational and a wonderful insight into the life of Marvel Opara. This film is documentary filmmaking at its best.
