Came without a blade and needed socket converter

I didn't like that the item came without a blade and required me to buy a blade set as well as an industrial socket converter which added extra cost for my personal use hire.

Absolute shambles from beginning to…

Absolute shambles from beginning to end.
I was told that a log splitter had been reserved for me for a Monday delivery. Phone call on the Monday saying sorry but no stock and it would be delivered Tuesday.
I wanted a two day hire except that the web site wouldn't let me, so I cleared it with Wolverhampton, paid the two day hire.
Wrong machine delivered, vertical not horizontal as shown on web site on the Tuesday at 11:20, only just in the morning. They hadn't told anyone that it was a 2 day hire so they came to collect it the following day. Not in, obviously so was told that I would be charged for an extra day. Called and it wasn't possible for them to collect on the Thursday. Finally collected on Friday but 40 mins after advised time.
As I say, complete shambles from start to finish.

Uses hire station for years

Uses hire station for years , had an account over 10 years . This Wolverhampton branch are shady . Invoiced £1400 for some thing should have been £660 so be careful always check invoices . Never use this branch
The manager will rob you blind daylight robbery good job I checked . Never had an issue at telford .

Collecting was very slow

Collecting was very slow , everything was a manual input on a system that seemed slow , I suggested scanners as items had bar codes but they said they weren’t working

Depot manager to be proud of

I arrived at the depot and was greetedby the depot manager, although he experienced a number of IT issues he continued to apologise and kept me abreast of when my order would be ready to take away with me.

Ordered plant online

Ordered plant online, had confirmation paid for it, then went to collect and not available. waste of my time fuel etc, and had to let my customer down. very poor service. Will not be using again.

Had a bumpa hoist in hire

Had a bumpa hoist in hire, then rang me at 4.30pm the day before I was supposed to pick it up saying they didn't have one, agreed to give me a refund which I waited for 2 weeks and didn't get until my bank stepped in.

I am so sorry to hear that the equipment could not be sourced for your hire. We do try our best to always fulfill every order, however there are sometimes issues with stock availability. This is a rare occurrence though and I am very sorry that this happened on this occassion.

I have also started an investigation into the delay with your refund, this is not our usual standard at all and I will be sure to make sure this is looked into and appropriate action is taken with the relevant departments, so again thank you for letting us know that this happened, this helps us to improve our services going forwards.

ordered online sent wrong product…

ordered online sent wrong product headoffice is saying call local branch and local branch said call headoffice so finally after wasting three days asked for refund . headoffice got no idea what is available and local branch and local brach is not bothered to help as its headoffice order also if they dont have 8 ft railtower they decided to send 6ft without even asking us I hope better communication can resolve this between headoffic and local branches I shared my experience with wolverhampton branch and headoffice.
