Superb service, over and above what was expected

This is no criticism of the delivery man who was good and did just as we asked but it was absolutely rediculous to send a man on his own to deliver the 4 4x8 boards. If my wife had been in on her own it would have been hopeless. The problem is that this is the second time this has happened. The last time my wife was on her own and we are sheilding so she did not want to leave the front door even if she had been able to help. We had an area ready for the delivery but the man said he could not do it alone. We had told Bradfords that we would not be able to help and they knew this but still sent a man on his own. He tried his best to deliver but when we checked the boards and wood were damaged. We sent in photos and emailed them and have never heard back. If we could buy elsewhere we would.

These guys couldn't be more helpful! I only needed 1 piece of timber, not exactly a big spender, so ordered online for collection but the store don't stock it (tech fault). They emailed to explain, apologetically and said I could collect it from a different branch or get refunded. Instead, between Joe and Jay they arranged to have it brought across for me within a few days.
When I collected it, it was 4.2m, not 2.1m as I'd ordered. They explained that the ends weren't perfect (about 50cm at most) so had supplied a larger piece. On request, they then supplied me a hand saw to cut it down as it wouldn't fit in the car. Overall I'm very happy with the service!

Ordered late Wednesday afternoon, got a call on Thursday and asked if OK to deliver Friday morning. Arrived as planned, very polite job done.

Cheerful and helpful delivery driver, very considerate as to where he left the items. A credit to his employer.

If I could give no stars, I would. Ordered online with a 3-7 day delivery offered. One month later, several phone calls, a forgotten order, a final delivery date and time, arrived, very inconveniently as not at agreed time and was four hours early, and items within the order were damaged.

I did write to them 24 hours ago to complain directly and they haven’t even bothered to respond to that.

Will not be using again.
